“We visited Calais Wine Superstore recently. As usual they paid for our Eurotunnel crossing, I had a credit note from them on an email for some white wine we had a problem with which was honoured without question. We were also given freebies for our spend. Came home very happy with our haul that we were able to taste before buying. Hope very much to be able to continue these trips but who knows?”

“We've been going to Calais Wine twice a year for a good number of years now, first on day trips with Eurotunnel but more recently taking advantage of the overnight stays (only an hour from Bruges, can certainly recommend you doing that the next time you travel over). All Eurotunnel costs paid for by Calais Wine, which is a nice touch. Struggling to recall whether we've ever bought a bad or disappointing red wine - whites are a little less reliable, or more a matter of taste, which is where the free tasting provided comes in handy. Nothing like trying it out before you load a box or two onto the groaning trolley. We tend to make up an order for research purposes before we travel, and put it together once we arrive rather than have the order waiting for us, because there is usually something else that catches our eye in the store. Staff are friendly and non-pushy, CWS is easy enough to find off the main A16 road. What's not to like? See you in 6 months... Brexit nightmare permitting, of course.”

“Great service as usual. I’ve been on a few of these trips recently. Just before each Brexit deadline. Good selection of wines. Could do with some Crémant de Limoux though. Subtle hint there. Hope the country comes to it’s senses and I can do it again.”

“Just back from our third visit this year; another £700 or so saved on Uk prices. Still lots of wines to choose from, even with Brexit looming. Really helpful staff who even helped load our purchases into our van.”

“Another brilliant visit, pre ordered so wine waiting for us on arrival. Excellent selection of wines at much lower prices than in the UK. We have been visiting around 4 times of year for many years now. All staff are friendly and helpful. Travel booked free! What more could one need! Just praying there is some hope that we can continue to visit after Brexit. 😢Time will tell....”

“Customer Service was excellent on the day, very helpful, excellent advice when required, very professional set up. Price is very good. Add to that a Bucket of Mussels & Frits washed down with a pint at City Europe all makes for a good day out. Just hope that Brexit does not affect it in the future.”

“I have been purchasing from the superstore for some 10 years now, along with a group of friends. The selection of wines, opportunity to taste, pricing and service are excellent. In addition, we find their recommendations of local restaurants very helpful.”

“Excellent service placed my order online, order was already on the day of pick up. Great tasting station where you can sample all the different wines types. Excellent value for money with most wines being less than half the UK price.”

“This was my umpteenth visit. As on every other occasion my wine was waiting for me. The helpful assistant pointed out that the total displayed was greater than the total on my online order but that I would be charged the lower amount. The staff are unfailingly courteous and helpful, the value for money is outstanding. I hope that I can continue to shop there after Brexit.”

“Once again Calais Wine Superstore delivers. Well actually they don't you do have to put a little effort in and go fetch. That in it's self is no problem, who doesn't enjoy a day out. A day out in France ( we went to Belgium too and had lunch ) is no hardship and when one is making the savings available at CW then it is a win win scenario. Yesterday 9th Oct 2019 it was the busiest I have ever seen it, can't think why....... None of know at the moment how things are going to shape up , I just hope common sense prevails ( Pete! you are talking about career politicians ...Damm ) and agreement can be reached, not just because I like CW and buying bulk wine with savings ( honestly ) but there are many people who are concerned about the futures. Whatever the outcome may be, Thank You CW for providing such a great service once again.”

“Large variety of wine at excellent prices. Good range to sample. The assistant was very helpful and when we made our selection it was all ready to collect in the morning. Enjoyable experience”

“I had the placed my order on line. I arrived on the dedicated day, my order was boxed up, on a trolley and ready for me to load the n my car. A no fuss easy to use system, took ten minutes to collect and pay. Very impressed”
