“Fabulous place to get excellent quality wine at fantastic prices, Lots of choice for all tastes and a wonderful tasting room to sample before you buy! Friendly helpful staff who also offer advice.”

“been going here for some years and the ease of ordering - collection - helpfulness of staff never falters. free travel always great and an added bonus this last trip 2 days ago - free lunch !!!. le bistro - sat outside in the beautiful sunshine - steak chips and salad together with a decent bottle of red - polite staff - what more do you want. thank calais winestore - always enjoy our trip to stock up on wine - but made the day even more enjoyable. we have never been disappointed in the range and quality of the wines - only one 99p red (which still makes a great coq au vin ) hasnt been to our palate. so no complaints from us - only praise. hope to see you again soon”

“The staff are very welcoming and helpful. We place our order on line, the wine is ready for collection when we arrive, They check it all off and make sure all the order is complete. There is an excellent wine tasting facility and hot drinks are available, all complimentary.”

“Excellent customer service and made to feel welcome every time. Great value and a warehouse crammed full of delicious wines. They also have a wine tasting area where you can try before you buy which is set out well. The booking of the Eurotunnel is always easy and their internet site is user friendly. I love this place just wished I'd have found it years ago !!”

“Recent mega offer of red wine at 99p was a bit dodgy as it tasted (luckily I tried!) terrible! Order which, to be fair, was only sent in the previous day, was not ready.”

“I ordered my wine online, arrived at Calais Wine Superstore where I was greeted, handed over my wine order, whist they checked my order I was directed to the tasting room. Very pleasant friendly atmosphere can't wait for my next visit.”

“We have been lots of times and always spent over £250. We have always been impressed with the friendly staff and ability to taste all of the wines. But this has changed significantly. The French staff were abrupt and unhelpful. I asked to try a fizzy wine Te Hua. Cost £3.99 she refused because we said we wanted 6 bottles. Instead she wanted to give me champagne because it was open. But I didn't want to buy it or taste it. Then we asked to try a wine called Motte. Cost £1.99. Again the answer was no. We spent £350 and felt very irked by the attitude. It's not like we asked to try expensive wines or that we weren't spending a significant amount. The woman in particular was rude.”

“Easily accessible with plenty of parking space. The selection of wines covers all tastes at incredible prices and is far cheaper than the UK. There is a wine tasting room where any wine can be tasted before purchasing. If that was not enough if you spend over £250 they book and pay for your journey either by train or ferry. I cannot recommend it highly enough just go and try it - you will not be disappointed”

“The Calais Wine Store, works for me, I sadly only get to visit once, maybe twice per year, this is solely down to geography and the miles involved. The range of wine and the prices are 1st class. Even "list prices" when not on one of the amazing offers, are more than competitive given that there are 3 wine warehouses within a spit. The easy access from tunnel or ferry, the atmosphere and the knowledge of the staff will see me coming back time after time. The amazing "Travel " offer is icing on the cake and long may it last, that's really where you come in. If you have never been to the Calais Wine Warehouse, then get there at the earliest opportunity. You can peruse the stock and offers in advance and even have it picked ready for you to just walk in and collect if prepaid. But why would you , when you can walk around, test many of the wines for sale in the well appointed taste test area. If you are a connoisseur or pleasure drinker ( and everything in between) you will not be disappointed.”
