“we ordered our wine online and received our free shuttle ticket an hour after placing order.we turned up 2 weeks later to pick our order up. everything was ready for us, had a look around the store and added a few more wines to order.spent £300 but reckon we saved more than £295 compared with the price of wine in the u.k .thats not including the free eurotunnel shuttle ticket which we had for free for spending over £250.this would have cost us about £50-£60.very good choice of wines,good taste testing.and great prices all in one store.will be back again soon .highly recommended”

“Was so helpful and very accommodating when I requested to change items on my order nothing was to hard for them to do and I AlSo had to change the date that I was travelling and informed them and my order was still kept and ready when I arrived thanks to all the staff for making it such an easy experience.”

“Always a nice day out to visit Calais Wine from Kent, amazing wines at incomparable prices. I've built up a fantastic collection of wine over the years, and it's always a pleasant experience visiting the shop and tasting some new wines. Very nice staff too, it's a winner and the only place in Calais for buying wine of all price ranges.”

“My pre-orders were ready & waiting for me (even though I had had to postpone collection of my first order by 7 days) and easy for me to find on the trollies (I didn't even have to ask). Staff are always very friendly & helpful too.”

“I have used their service a few times and have always found nothing is too much trouble. They will try and help whenever they can and I believe the prices are very reasonable. I am just worrying what will happen after Brexit”

“Having posted a deservedly poor review on my prior visit, I am pleased to report that I was contacted by one of the Company Directors who duly apologised for my experience and offered me a discount for the recent visit/order. All went smoothly this time and I shall return again despite earlier misgivings”

“Good selection, tasting was easy and the whites were nicely chilled. Just a quick heads up - its all in the info they supply, but I was surprised and disappointed at the exchange rate they use for Euros on pricing. They are very clear that if you want the UK price, then you need to pay by cash or cheque(?). This is important, as they exchange rate they are currently applying is euro 1.20 to gpb to 1.00. The current credit card exchange is closer to 1.09 and has been for quite some time. I left feeling I had been taken advantage of. Again, all this is on the info if you read it, so no one to blame but myself, but for such a great product, it left a bad taste in my mouth.”

“Very good website, making it easy to pre-order. Booking a free Eurotunnel ticket is always very smooth. When arriving at the store to collect our wine we're always met by helpful and pleasant employees. And of course the icing on the cake, great wines at really good prices!”

“I ordered on line and when we got there the trolley was ready loaded with our order and all we had to do was load the car and pay. Knocked off a star because we still do not have our voucher for our next trip (3 day short break) because we spent nearly £650 !!! Have chased up the shop but no response as yet ...poor to promise something and then not deliver !!!”
