“A decent, clear website, straight forward ordering and the bonus of free cross Channel travel if spending over £300. OK wine selection, but possibly more wine on sale for quaffing than taking seriously - it is not so much the name on the label but it is the producer (Domaine) which is of importance when looking for real quality! Very attractive champagne prices, friendly service and overall a good experience (again!).”

“Ordering online was really easy, and the wine/beer was ready when we arrived and the service was great; the only problem was that the wine itself (or rather the ones that I have sampled to date) is not very good which is rather disappointing”

“Brilliant value & a nice airy warehouse.Most others are depressing. Tasting area great idea. I would love it if you stocked 1 or 2 other brands of Alsace Gewürztraminer . With free travel thrown in ,I don't think you can beat it......”

“Where else can you get good wine for £2+ a bottle and have your crossing paid for. When I say to my friends that we are going on a booze cruise, they say "is it still worth it". When I tell them the price at Calais Wine Superstore, they can hardly believe it !! Great service as well, order ready on arrival plus free tasting for any top ups that you want. Well done CWS team !! Keith”

“We like the website which is easy to use and has clear pricing.However we feel there should be discounts on how much you spend rather than it revolving around the channel crossing. We h ave never found it convenient to order wine and book travel at the same time as we need to be flexible with our crossing time. We visit every year but and spend around £4-500 pounds each time but there is no loyalty scheme.perhaps a voucher/discount for returning customers ?”
