“Always great choice and great service from friendly people”

“I usually place an advance order for collection of a specific day. The order is always ready when I get there. We usually add to or adjust the original selection as a result of a few tastings and this is never a problem. Staff are always welcoming and friendly and ready with advice if needed. The tasting room is well set up and very convenient.”

“As always we find The Calais Wine Superstore very efficient, knowledgeable. We have been going for many years and find the range of wines to be first class at great prices. Staff are so helpful and that shows in the distance many people travel from England to buy their wine.”

“The service is fantastic, booking a crossing via tunnel with a pre-order could not be easier, when we arrived they had the order ready on a trolley and checkout was very simple and quick. They are a fantastic team and the wine selection is vast, they stock a favourite Pinot of mine and I will always travel over to get the great deals they offer. I highly recommend using Calais wine and I will use them again.”

“We have supported Calais even before they came to the new premises and have always been pleased with their service and the wine they offer. I don't put much store in their comparison prices to UK prices, as one would be pushed to find a major UK stockist for most of the lines. We wish them well.”

“Prices exceptional, service exactly what is required, from very efficient pre-order facility to help with car loading. Can't trust myself to take advantage of tasting facilities due to return drive, but will arrange one day! Very pleasant and helpful staff, good location between ferry and tunnel. Quality of wine generally excellent and vfm extraordinary, with cheque payment in sterling a major plus as exchange rates so poor. The free tunnel crossing makes for a real bonus, particularly as customs seem totally relaxed about any quantity of wine for personal use so very real savings against uk supermarkets are easy to attain. Just saw a wine I bought last week at £1.99 on special offer in the uk at £7.99. Went home and opened my purchase to celebrate!”
