Poor customer service. I’ve only had a couple issues in m 2-3 years of having a subscription but both times it’s taken several days for a reply (3 days and counting for my most recent issue).

While we understand waiting for assistance can be frustrating, we are committed to resolving any issues as quickly as possible. Was gifted a subscription and received 2 bags of coffee beans.. neither of which are anyway close to my taste. When I try to change my subscription to select a different bean I’m told that the difference in pack size does not make this possible (?). So it seems that I will go on to receive 2 random bags of beans until the subscription expires that are someone else’s choice and are likely to go straight in the bin - very sad and environmentally dumb. I was hoping for an opportunity to try other beans and roasts based around my love of the coffee that usually drink.. I don’t understand why this isn’t possible. How is this an appropriate gift for a ‘coffee geek’?

Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I am sorry to hear that the coffee beans were not to your taste. I understand that this was a gift and as the gift recipient, you are not able to change your type of gift subscription. However, I would like to inform you that if you had reached out to us, we would have been more than happy to swap the coffee for you and resolve the issue. Standard subscriptions are however completely customisable. As you have received a gift of the Discovery pack, you will receive 2 different coffees to try, hopefully these will be to your liking. We encourage you to try them before throwing the coffee in the bin. Additionally, I would like to mention that our packaging is home compostable, which is an environmentally friendly aspect of our brand.  I want to address the fact that this review seems quite harsh, especially considering that you have only tried one delivery of our coffee and it doesn't appear that you have contacted us about this issue. As a family-run business, it saddens us to receive such feedback, and we hope that this review won't have a detrimental impact on our business.
