“The Nerivio device is easy to use and the delivery was pretty smooth after some initial confusion! Using at the start of a migraine has been really helpful, and the companion videos are excellent. The preventative treatments are simple and not an inconvenience at all, but I have only been using for about a month so I can’t speak to the efficacy yet. There are few technical developments I would like to recommend: On iOS, a really excellent feature would be to add a “time sensitive notification” with the ability to increase/decrease the intensity and see the time progress of the treatment session from the Lock Screen/Notification Center. Along those lines, it would also be useful to be able to listen to the companion videos without needing to have the video or phone on. An improved UI for accessing the companion videos would be a huge improvement- it is currently a bit messy and tricky to access the videos VS the trailers, and many of the videos could use improved visuals.”

Hi Wilson, thank you for sharing your experience. Not everyone benefits from Nerivio, and migraine attacks may continue their natural progression when treatment isn't effective for that individual. The timing of relief varies among users - some experience relief shortly after treatment, while others may require multiple sessions for noticeable improvement. For prevention, clinical trials showed significant reduction after two weeks, with full benefits at two months when used every other day. Ensure you're using proper intensity (above 20% is more effective for most patients) and completing full 45-minute treatments. We recommend to consult with your healthcare provider for any additional concerns you may have💚

“I have experienced fewer migraines or other types of headaches using the device. It has made things more tolerable when I do have any type of head pain. My only dislike is the lack of insurance coverage or financial assistance to purchase the devices.”

Thank you for sharing your experience💚 If your insurance does not cover Nerivio, the Nerivio Savings Program will help eligible and insured patients by bringing down the cost. With the Nerivio Savings Program, the first 18 treatment Nerivio device will be $49. If it is determined that your insurance will not cover the cost of Nerivio following a benefit investigation by the pharmacy, the Nerivio Savings Program will also assist with refills and limit the out-of-pocket cost to $89 per device. In addition, there is an offer through the Nerivio Savings Program to buy three Nerivio devices for $199. This brings the cost down to $66/device. “Great device. Convenient and discreet, easy to use. You just wear it on your arm, and you can go about your activities if you're able. If I use it early in an attack, I sometimes don't need acute medication, or I use less. I knocked off a star for the pricing model. It is terrible; each device has 16-18 uses, and after you use them you have to buy a new device. They're not cheap, even with a discount. (Unless you're lucky and your insurance covers it). But it's better priced than some of the newer devices, and is more accessible. But if you use it as often as I do (daily, often more than once), I go through devices quickly, so the price can add up. Luckily my insurance covers it now, but I paid for it even out of pocket because it works and because of the convenience. I highly recommend it.”

“Something nerivio could improve on is having a system that increases the percent slowing. every 30 seconds the device increases by 1% for example. A maximum percent should be set and it slowly increases instead of a sudden jump.”
