“My neurologist prescribed me Nerivio because I am in my first trimester of pregnancy and I can’t take my regular migraine medicine. I do not see any impact at all using this device, it has unfortunately not worked for me.”

“No improvement regarding any kind of light triggering the chronic migraines I have. Restarted using the Nerivio after treatment at Akeso and hospitalisation at Brenthurst Clinic for the trigger of the migraines is any form of light. I have twelve sessions left.”

“I absolutely do not recommend this device. It’s a complete waste of money, time, and energy. The performance is non-existent, and the customer service is pathetic. They are slow, clueless, and unresponsive. Despite numerous attempts to get help, I received no useful response. Save yourself the trouble and do not buy this product.”

Hi, Charles. Based on usage history and clinical data, we recommend adhering to the following guidelines for effective treatment ⬇️ 1. As with all acute migraine treatments, treating early is key to success and improved efficacy (preferably within 60 minutes of the start of your migraine). 2. Set an intensity that is strong yet comfortable and not painful. Setting the intensity below this point could decrease the efficacy of the treatment. In clinical trials, levels below 20% were found to be less effective by the majority of patients. 3. For effective results, complete the full 45-minute treatment. If you have treated with Nerivio and have not experienced relief/freedom, or the migraine has returned, you may administer additional treatments on the same day. We recommend you switch arms between treatments. For further device assistance, Nerivio Cares customer support can help you get the most effective treatment (📩 support@nerivio.com / 📞 866-637-4846). “Nerivio is agravating my migraine more. I take rizactriptan whenever i get a migraine. I have used Nerivio thrice, and then taken the pill but after using Nerivio , i hv to take double dosage of my medicine as headache gets very severe.”

Nerivio leads to pain relief in 2 out of 3 people with migraine (67%) and to pain freedom in more than 1 out of 3 (37%). As in all treatments for migraine, not everyone benefits from Nerivio. In such cases, the migraine attack itself may continue and even worsen with time, which is the natural progress of untreated migraine attacks. In other words, worsening of an attack may result from the patient not being responsive to the treatment, not considered a side effect from the treatment itself. We recommend you consult with your personal healthcare provider if this continues or if there are any other concerns.
