“Not a slightest of relief after 3 session of treatment”

Thanks for letting us know, Rachna. Based on our clinical studies and feedback from users, we recommend using Nerivio about 4-5 times to evaluate its efficacy for aborting your migraine attacks. It’s important to begin treatment as early as possible (preferably within 60 minutes of the start of your migraine), set an intensity that is strong but comfortable, and complete the full 45-minute treatment. Hi, Noorani. Nerivio is a smartphone-controlled wearable neuromodulation device for the treatment of migraine. Through remote electrical neuromodulation (REN), Nerivio activates nerve fibers in the upper arm that are responsible for delivering pain messages to the brain. These messages trigger an analgesic mechanism in the brainstem (called conditioned pain modulation, or CPM), releasing neurotransmitters (serotonin and norepinephrine) directly to the migraine pain pathway in the brain to relieve the migraine attack. When used as directed, this process treats migraine in a safe and drug-free way.

“I used 35% intensity and got rid of my headache at 1am. Woke up at 5am with SEVERE headache. Unable to move for awhile and then took imitrex shot and got rid of headache. Use has not been effective.”

Hey Gopal! I've checked with our medical affairs team and have an answer for you. Nerivio leads to pain relief in 2 out of 3 people with migraine (67%) and to pain freedom in more than 1 out of 3 (39%). But, every individual experiences migraine differently, and as with any migraine treatments, not everyone benefits from Nerivio. In such cases, the migraine attack itself may continue and even worsen with time, which is the natural progress of untreated migraine attacks. In other words, the worsening of an attack may result from the patient being not responsive to the treatment, not from the treatment itself. It may take some time to become accustomed to using the device and app and determine the optimal intensity level for you. I can connect you with our Nerivio Cares support team. “I have used it several times so far and experienced no relief of my headaches. I am unsure of how it is supposed to work, but I continue to have them. It is fun to use the device, but it does not seem to help me so far.”

“I wish I would’ve dug deeper into the cost of refills, which isn’t advertised, most insurance companies do not cover it, and the cost for refills isn’t something I can afford, (89$ per refill). I bought this out of pocket hoping it’s a cheaper alternative than all the migraine meds I have taken. It’s kinda frustrating and I wish I could return mine”

“Has not helped at all. I've used Nerivio 3 times. Twice it made the migraine worse and once it did nothing. All 3 times it made my arm very sore. I had to take my usual prescription meds all 3 times. I'm very disappointed in Nerivio.”
