“It works to take away the pain. Sometimes it is only for a short time. Symptoms such as pressure in the head and exhaustion remain. It takes a few uses to get used to the strange new sensation of using the device. It can be scary at first. The GIER is very helpful. GIER could be a bit more involved with more relaxation techniques.”

“My original device did not work properly. I contacted the company and they were very helpful. A new device was already sent to me. I have not had a chance to use it yet so I can't comment yet on whether it helps my head. But, I did want to say the company was very responsive with a replacement which is much appreciated.”

“It has provided relief during time of treatment on 4 out 5 treatments. It is a feeling of relief that resembles when pain is diminished with medication but with no sleepiness. The guided imagery was helpful.”

“It's a very strange method of treating a headache. I must say, it helps every time I use it. It hasn't gotten rid of my headache totally, but it makes the symptoms bearable. I just wish I could use it twice, as a longer application would be more helpful”

“The device is easy to use. It’s painless, as long as I don’t turn it up too high. For mild migraines, I find it ends the migraine and prevents it from escalating. For moderate migraines, I use it in conjunction with medication and it is a great tool to help end a migraine and prevent escalation. For severe migraines, I haven’t found it effective. I have found I don’t have a tolerance for the physical stimulation when I am in such physical discomfort.”
