“I am currently on Aimovig and that does help a lot but I still get 2-5 migraines a month. Having Nerivio helps with these migraines more than any other rescue medication I have tried. It doesn’t always take away my migraine 100% but it does help with pain, and I do get some relief.”

“It really hasn't done a whole lot to help. I have started my day and finished it with a 9 magnitude headache. I can't explain the intensity of the headache. It's been a sharp pain and it has been radiating down the left side of my head. I continue to hate my day. Good news I slept 5.5 hours last night.”

“Nerivio really helps. It is a great addition to my treatment regimen. It has reduced the need for stronger pain meds. The app locks up often. If only I didn’t have to delete and reinstall the app all the time.”

“It could be a little more effective for your control of migraine and also be a little more easier to put around your arm. With maybe some other additional features on the device it's self so you don't have to have a device to control the settings.”

As far as still having a migraine after your treatment: If your migraine headache is not aborted following treatment, you may administer additional treatments. We do not have a limit on the number of times you may treat in a day, though we have no data on daily or long-term use. Please consult your healthcare provider to discuss long-term use. “The first time I used it, my migraine went away after the 45 minute session. Then I didn't have migraines for a year or so. 2nd migraine I had a year later, it didn't go away with 1st session so did another treatment same day and 2 hrs or so later, migraine has calmed down a lot. It's almost gone.”

Thanks for your review! We are glad that Nerivio is working well for you. Here are some tips that may help you: Setting Intensity -Since each migraine attack is different, there is no one right setting. The intensity should be strong, but never painful or uncomfortable, and should be set within the first few minutes of treatment.    -The + and – buttons on your phone screen allow you to set the level, and just after you start a treatment, you can repeatedly press the “plus” button to increase intensity until the sensation feels strong but not uncomfortable.  -During clinical trials, the most effective treatment was obtained with intensities over 20% and with averages between 25 and 35%. If you do not get to 20%, however, do not worry, as long as it feels strong. -Although the intensity may feel as if it gets weaker during treatment; this is normal and is just your body adjusting to the sensation; there is no need to increase the intensity further.  If your migraine headache is not aborted following treatment, or the headache returns, you may administer additional treatments. We do not have a limit on the number of times you may treat in a day, though we have no data on daily or long-term use. Please consult your healthcare provider to discuss long-term use. “Instead of popping more medicine at start of migraine I like being able to use Nerivio instead. Seems I’m using it a lot!!!! It helps calm the migraine yet I notice it still lingers on.”
