“What a difference. Nerivio has genuinely made my life my life with chronic migraines better. Oh a weekly basis I’m taking less abortive medication and I am not longer having days on end of migraine cycles. Thank you for helping me get my life back.”

“So far so good. I’ve been able to stop migraines w/o medication 2/3 times. The 3rd might not have needed meds (NSAID) but it was taken as post op for knee surgery.”

“Worth a try. Easy to use once set up. Only used 4 times and had to use rescue medication as well. Need to use a longer period if time to evaluate properly. I’m thinking of putting the device higher up in my arm where it is closer to the head ache point at the base if my skull. I’ll try that technique on the next use.,”

Thank you for letting us know about your experience with Nerivio. Place the device on your upper arm so that the electrodes are in contact with your skin and the LED indicator is facing outwards. *The device should be located midway between the elbow and the shoulder. Here is an explanation of our mechanism of action for your reference: Nerivio® is a remote electrical neurostimulator (REN) which works by applying an electrical signal to sensory nerves in the arm to activate one of your body’s natural pain regulation mechanisms called Conditioned Pain Modulation (CPM). The peripheral activation of Aδ and C fibers in the arm sends a signal to pain control centers in the lower brain to release pain inhibiting molecules that inhibit migraine pain signals. The electrical parameters of the Nerivio device are specifically designed to activate sensory fibers. TENS devices have different electrical parameters that activate touch fibers. Because of the difference in electrical parameters, the two devices have different mechanisms of action and are not interchangeable. “Nerivio has given me a extra tool to fight my migraines. Often when I catch it soon enough it will stop a migraine from manifesting. Even when the migraine takes hold, with the use of OTC meds and Nurivio it usually will knock it down to a tolerable level that allows me to function.”

There is no restriction on how often the device can be used though we have no data on daily or long-term use. Please consult your healthcare provider to discuss long-term use.
