I’m writing a new review, I had an issue with not receiving an order, but I reached out to customer service and Tommy got back to me immediately and resolved it. I will continue to use Thick Spores in the future and I would recommend them to anybody.

Customer since 2022 here. Thick spores has always been my go to and still is! Small hiccup in march but Tommy got back with me and informed me 12 got him for DUI and weed intox. He got my order out the next day and everything is the same quality as normal. Testing is as to be expected no issues!! Thanks bro! Sorry you had a bad time last month! Glad you’re back!

Thick spores was my go to site for liquid culture. Up until now I never had issue with shipping or customer service. My last order was paid for and I never got any shipping details or my order. Tried numerous times calling, texting, emails, and no response. No customer service .

Hi Eric, Sorry to hear about the issue. I had an issue with DUI and cannabis which I was unavailable for 40 days, not at my will. The checkout page was taken down so no one could checkout and all orders were refunded back to march 19. Please send me a text message at 5409603193 and I’ll look into this issue and get you straight. I am truly sorry about the delay. It was unintentional.

I ordered their 10 LC package deal on the 17/18th of march and got a an email saying the shipping label has been created and is waiting for the vendor to drop it off at a processing center. I waiting a few days for it to be shipped out but it has not. I have called, texted, and emailed but there has been no response. It’s now April 1st and I have not gotten a response to my multiple attempts at getting a response. I will wait till the end of this week and if I don’t hear anything back, I’m going to file a claim with my cc company. This is not how you run a business. I’d stay clear from ordering anything from this company.

This place is phenomenal. I have been using them for a while and they are hands down the best. Anyone that is unsatisfied with this site is completely to blame themselves. Made an order of the of three liquid culture . Contacted vendor upon the three day ups schedule order. To see if there were any issues with my order. Vender is unable to locate fulfillment on my order. Send prof of payment. But got Ghost.

100% false and defamatory. You contacted me at 4:13 pm EST via text message. I responded at 4:16pm to your text message asking for order information since you did not include it. You responded at 4:16pm and gave me a email to lookup the order that you didn’t use on the order. I asked for That’s why I couldn’t find it. At 4:19pm I then asked you for the name on the credit card you used to pay with so I could find your order that way since you gave me incorrect order details. Then I got off work for the day, because I get off at 4pm. Our hours of operation are listed in multiple places on the website. Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm EST. I’m sorry I didn’t answer to you right away after hours. It’s now 7:14pm EST, and I am answering a false negative review because you didn’t understand we have business hours like every business..? You have to be patient and wait for support to reply to you with the information you want. During normal business hours. I am very sorry the world works that way.

Tommy is quick to respond and fix issues with the shipping service. It seemed like they lost my order but he contacted them for me and got it moving the same day. Very good customer service. The liquid culture was full of mycelium. My bags are colonizing fast. They got all my business in the future if I need anything else.

I’ve never had trouble with your products or the results. I have had contamination in my lab and as a result I will have to order more cultures. But you and one other company(N.S.),have my total support as far as quality goes. Once the lab has settled down, after a massive cleanup we will send in our order. Thanks again, Rick B.

Last two times I ordered from here they put my order on hold awaiting payment after I already paid in full. They will get it figured out eventually

Hi Brian, As mentioned in our private communications, all orders are automatically placed on hold until your payment to us is verified. It is a manual process. Payment verifications occur during normal business hours. I am sorry that this process frustrated you because you didn’t understand how our system works. The great news is your payment that you made while we were closed on Saturday night has been verified. Your order has already been packed and is awaiting pickup by the courier. I hope that you will revise this review for us. You could tell people why you came back for a second order. You could talk about our products. Tried reaching out to sales, tried reaching out through site. Bought the 3 pan customers choice. All 3 contaminated. Kept in bag, added alcohol to bag with syringes. Put them on 6 agar in a still air, other cultures proofed out, all of these from 2 different agar vendors molded over the next day. I even sent photos. Through my purchase email. Radio silence. Tried uploading photos, site won't let me. I would avoid.

Hi I am sorry but as we mention on every page of our website and in all transactional emails, if you signal to us that you are using our products for anything other than lawful uses like microscopy or general collection purposes we cannot help you. That is because Panaeolus species mushrooms are capable of producing psilocybin. Manufacture of psilocybin is illegal. Mentioning things like inoculation, or grow bags, as you have, will prevent us from responding to you or sending you anything else. That is because doing so would be illegal. We cannot help people commit a crime. Thats called conspiracy. I’m sorry you had a problem with our products, your techniques, or a third party’s products. But we cannot help you when you mention illegal (or possibly illegal) things to us. Our products are sold only for lawful uses. Like microscopic identification. We cannot sell them for any other reason. Like inoculating “grow bags,” from third parties. I recommend that you follow all laws, state and federal. If you are not going to don’t tell anyone. Don't try to bring people into your business that do follow the law.

We operate in an industry that does require specific equipment and specific skills, as you know. There is a learning curve. Some negative comments come from issues where people lacked experience, and equipment. We can’t change that. It’s going to happen with every vendor. All the top vendors have bad reviews and negative comments about them. The more popular you become the more negative comments there will be. It’s just the way it is. Some of the other stuff we have seen is obviously competitors commenting trying to send people to their business. That also happens when you are among the best in ANY industry. Bought some liquid culture and it was contaminated. When trying to contact via text and calls no response. I left a voicemail and sent a few text. I have given it long enough. This was the second time I had bad liquid cultures from Thick Spores. Stay away! I thought the first time was me, however it was not. I’ve now spoke to others with this same issue. Again Stay Away

Hi Ron, We use a ULPA flow hood to create our products. We do offer a 30 day warranty on our products. We have a very clear replacement policy. For customers to make a valid claim of contamination that is the fault of us, and not customer mishandling we do require that customers submit proof to us by testing on agar. If we do not receive this information as it is specific in our replacement policy we do not offer replacements. I’m sorry but we did not receive that information from you. I hope that you understand we can’t replace orders simply because someone mishandled their item and would wish to blame us for that. I’m sorry you’re disappointed with us, or our policy. If you want to submit the required information please view our replacement policy concerning contamination claims and submit the required information. I’ll be glad to help you.

I received my order which was one Liquid Culture to see if they were viable and to see if we could do futures business. My order wasn't shipped in 24 hrs which that's okay. I wasn't particularly in a rush but I did text the # given and didn't mention anything about mycology I simply asked about the status of my order, never received one word or even an acknowledgement. But it was filled and shipped the next day. The product was as advertised and honestly I will be using them again despite not returning my inquiries about my order
