Thick spores was my go to site for liquid culture. Up until now I never had issue with shipping or customer service. My last order was paid for and I never got any shipping details or my order. Tried numerous times calling, texting, emails, and no response. No customer service .

Hi Eric, Sorry to hear about the issue. I had an issue with DUI and cannabis which I was unavailable for 40 days, not at my will. The checkout page was taken down so no one could checkout and all orders were refunded back to march 19. Please send me a text message at 5409603193 and I’ll look into this issue and get you straight. I am truly sorry about the delay. It was unintentional.

I ordered their 10 LC package deal on the 17/18th of march and got a an email saying the shipping label has been created and is waiting for the vendor to drop it off at a processing center. I waiting a few days for it to be shipped out but it has not. I have called, texted, and emailed but there has been no response. It’s now April 1st and I have not gotten a response to my multiple attempts at getting a response. I will wait till the end of this week and if I don’t hear anything back, I’m going to file a claim with my cc company. This is not how you run a business. I’d stay clear from ordering anything from this company.

Made an order of the of three liquid culture . Contacted vendor upon the three day ups schedule order. To see if there were any issues with my order. Vender is unable to locate fulfillment on my order. Send prof of payment. But got Ghost.

100% false and defamatory. You contacted me at 4:13 pm EST via text message. I responded at 4:16pm to your text message asking for order information since you did not include it. You responded at 4:16pm and gave me a email to lookup the order that you didn’t use on the order. I asked for That’s why I couldn’t find it. At 4:19pm I then asked you for the name on the credit card you used to pay with so I could find your order that way since you gave me incorrect order details. Then I got off work for the day, because I get off at 4pm. Our hours of operation are listed in multiple places on the website. Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm EST. I’m sorry I didn’t answer to you right away after hours. It’s now 7:14pm EST, and I am answering a false negative review because you didn’t understand we have business hours like every business..? You have to be patient and wait for support to reply to you with the information you want. During normal business hours. I am very sorry the world works that way.

Tried reaching out to sales, tried reaching out through site. Bought the 3 pan customers choice. All 3 contaminated. Kept in bag, added alcohol to bag with syringes. Put them on 6 agar in a still air, other cultures proofed out, all of these from 2 different agar vendors molded over the next day. I even sent photos. Through my purchase email. Radio silence. Tried uploading photos, site won't let me. I would avoid.

Hi I am sorry but as we mention on every page of our website and in all transactional emails, if you signal to us that you are using our products for anything other than lawful uses like microscopy or general collection purposes we cannot help you. That is because Panaeolus species mushrooms are capable of producing psilocybin. Manufacture of psilocybin is illegal. Mentioning things like inoculation, or grow bags, as you have, will prevent us from responding to you or sending you anything else. That is because doing so would be illegal. We cannot help people commit a crime. Thats called conspiracy. I’m sorry you had a problem with our products, your techniques, or a third party’s products. But we cannot help you when you mention illegal (or possibly illegal) things to us. Our products are sold only for lawful uses. Like microscopic identification. We cannot sell them for any other reason. Like inoculating “grow bags,” from third parties. I recommend that you follow all laws, state and federal. If you are not going to don’t tell anyone. Don't try to bring people into your business that do follow the law.

Bought some liquid culture and it was contaminated. When trying to contact via text and calls no response. I left a voicemail and sent a few text. I have given it long enough. This was the second time I had bad liquid cultures from Thick Spores. Stay away! I thought the first time was me, however it was not. I’ve now spoke to others with this same issue. Again Stay Away

Hi Ron, We use a ULPA flow hood to create our products. We do offer a 30 day warranty on our products. We have a very clear replacement policy. For customers to make a valid claim of contamination that is the fault of us, and not customer mishandling we do require that customers submit proof to us by testing on agar. If we do not receive this information as it is specific in our replacement policy we do not offer replacements. I’m sorry but we did not receive that information from you. I hope that you understand we can’t replace orders simply because someone mishandled their item and would wish to blame us for that. I’m sorry you’re disappointed with us, or our policy. If you want to submit the required information please view our replacement policy concerning contamination claims and submit the required information. I’ll be glad to help you.
