Slow deliver £450 pound order , although its stated next day delivery I eventually had my products 5 days after ordering.. Apart from that the product is fine

The low rating comes from a simple error that became impossible to solve. I placed an order for a significant amount of floor levelling compound having checked in advance and after purchase that the delivery date was confirmed. On the day of delivery I contacted TileFix to check timing and was told that the delivery had actually been scheduled for a week later. This was a mistake on their part which they admitted but it revealed several fundamental flaws in the the processes. I got no written confirmation of the agreed date so when I complained there was a question raised over whether the date had actually been agreed. I was also told that terms and conditions stated that delivery dates were not guaranteed despite the fact that this date had been specifically confirmed and was in line with the timescales advertised on the website. All that I required to remedy the situation was to be confirmed as the first delivery the next working day but although TileFix could confirm delivery sometime during that day they could not confirm that I would be first. The end result is that my diary does not allow for any alternative date this year but that is precisely why I put such effort into confirming the date in the first place. I had to cancel the order and the project has been delayed four months until I return from a business trip and get past Christmas. We are fortunate that the detriment to me is delay and not significant financial damage. Anyone can make a mistake but some simple precautions would have prevented the problems that arose here, principally being written confirmation of the delivery date with the order confirmation so that the error could have been picked up earlier and corrected. Dealing with issues should not involve questioning something that the retailer only does verbally. TileFix created that process and should not be using it against customers who have done nothing wrong. Standard terms and conditions do not allow a retailer to make a unilateral variation to the terms through their own mistake and that should not be used against an innocent customer. The lack of arrangements with delivery depots to prioritise specified deliveries to allow for errors is a fundamental weakness is the process. The person initially dealing with the problems was very apologetic hence two stars rather than one but the manager gets only one star for the suggestion that the verbal agreement on delivery dates was under question and trying to use standard terms and conditions as a get out clause for making a major error. I don't imagine that this is typical but it reveals cracks in the process that I suspect could easily be repeated.

Not happy with the damaged conditions of delivered insulation flooring first time round then when driver came and picked up the damaged flooring , my wife ask him about the new box of flooring and he said he was only here to pick up not to drop when he finally looked at his paper work he then found the box in the back of the van, if my wife hadnt said anything he would of driven off . no care has been taken with the items and have just be thrown about hence the second box being damage in one corner which I kept overall not good. and would not recommend. ps have sent photo of first delivery.

Tilefix is a very efficient company my grout was delivered in a very quick two days and I was kept informed of the status of my order. All very impressive so far but and it’s a very BIG BUT the eye watering charge for postage was £9 nearly the price of the grout. I had no other options open to me as we were in lockdown. Because of the exorbitant postage cost I won’t be a returning customer sadly.

Product arrived fine but was puzzled why I was charged £9 delivery when I couldn't see any option for normal postage. This was nearlythe price of the product itself.

Only half the order was received. I order Marmo Multiboard Curved Board 20mm (1250 x 600mm) and Orbry Tile Backer Board Washers - Pack of 50. The washers didnt arrive. On the plus side the board was good.

Paid £24 extra for a Saturday DPD delivery, despite receiving a DPD delivery on the Saturday my package was not on board and arrived Monday. BAL grout product is excellent but nowhere near enough or adhesive was supplied with original tile order.

Took Too Long. Ordered my £1000 worth of material. Waited six days and phoned in to ask where it was. Was told it was coming out today! Waited another two days and took the delivery. Unacceptable to be lied to. I can make alternative arrangements if i have the truth but lies are no good for anyone.

I ordered standard set tile adhesive. I was sent rapid set which was no good to me. Lost the window of opportunity to complete that part of a project. The whole thing has been put back two weeks because of some packer's lack of attention to detail. No offer of compensation either!

Sorry to hear that you received the wrong product, unfortunately picking errors do happen occasionally, and we sent you a replacement. We do ask that customers allow enough time for delivery when ordering, as errors or damages can occur and it gives us time to put it right.

Product was as ordered, but the delivery was 36hrs late, causing me to purchase goods elsewhere !

Sorry to hear you are not happy, however the order was delivered within our 48 hour delivery times. The order was placed on a Tuesday evening and dispatched the following day for delivery Thursday but unfortunately no one was home so it had to be delivered on Friday.

As with a lot of online suppliers sadly TileFix were let down by their courier. Delivery had to be chased. The courier then only delivered half of the order with the remainder arriving three days later. Products are great, just disappointing they had to be chased.

It was like applying for a passport or something just to make a purchase why is it so long winded? and I still do not have a receipt when I tried to click on PRINT RECEIPT nothing happened. The goods came on time but I paid extra for that. Still need receipt so will have to phone. You should consider simplifying buying goods on this website.
