I had booked a flexible ticket for Bolton three weeks earlier, Suddenly a hospital appointment arrived for my son and I had to cancel the ticket, But they don't accept the cancellation, even after showing the hospital letter and don't refund my money , I called them but didn’t answer me well Very poor customer service and their work is like stealing, I paid £72 for a ticket Ref: 34891531447

Flight was cancelled without notice. After over 5 long discussions with them, they agreed that the flight was cancelled. Then, they changed their mind and said I have been allocated to another flight and didn't show up. It's a big lie. I had to pay a last minute ticket by myself 5x the original price, in addition to the money they stole from me. It's a disgusting scam company. Avoid at all costs. I booked a very reasonably cheap from London to Miami. The flight was cancelled and I was informed I would receive payment refund. Payments to trip.com was paid using PayPal. Checking my bank statement I need this that there was no refund although there was the statement on PayPal app that informed me I had been reimbursed. This was done on the 11th of September 2024. I was told there would be up to two weeks to wait for return of finances. It has been over a month and I have not hand return of payments made!

Hi Guys, my wife passed away and I am grieving, we cancel the tickets after she passed away as when can not travel, we are waiting for refund, I am talking to trip. Com everyday they said airline is going to refund and when I talk to airline they said trip.com will refund the money, trip.com send me misleading email says they already refund the money, I Jen I call they they said airline will refund the money, I am in grieving and need to call them everyday for refund, do you think this is reasonable for me to deal with them like this .

I had a negative experience. The website, as it is structured, offers no protection at all against typing errors or selection mistakes. It proceeds all the way to the end, and in case of errors, canceling a booked flight costs more than the ticket itself. Even the insurance, which cost me 320 euros, was of no use. I had to repurchase the ticket at full price because I had selected the wrong date. The cancellation was made two weeks after the initial purchase and three months before the flight departure. 1200 euros down the drain. It's much better to go through a travel agency—there is absolutely no advantage to booking online. Esperienza negativa, il sito per come é strutturato non protegge assolutamente da errori di battitura o selezioni. Il sito va avanti fino alla fine ed in caso di errori, cancellare un volo prenotato costa piú del biglietto stesso. Addirittura l'assicurazione pagata 320e non é stata utile. Ho dovuto riacquistare il biglietto a prezzo pieno per aver selezionato una data sbagliata. La cancellazione della prenotazione é stata fatta 2 settimana dopo il primo acquisto e 3 mesi prima della partenza del volo. 1200euro buttate nell'immondizia. Molto meglio andare in Agenzia, non c'é nessun vantaggio ad acquistare online. reservation nº 34906224045

Nothing but fraud They take ur money and sell ur tickets to others as soon the price goes up And will tell you after 4 hours sorry no seats are not available then I book the next flight got everything booked then I got email after 5 hours no seat available twice they did this to me during well I m stuck in Orlando with cate 5 Hurricane It’s said they wants to make money and not care for people life Please don’t waste ur money by third party get straight from airline your ticket or hotel

Unacceptable Service Leading to Missed Flight (Batik Air Malaysia OD191) I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had with Batik Air Malaysia on flight OD191 from Kuala Lumpur to Perth on 08 October 2024. My flight was scheduled for 00:05, and I arrived at the gate at 11:35, well ahead of time. However, upon arrival, the staff at the gate informed me that my name was not on the system, and they needed to conduct some checks. I patiently waited for 30 minutes at the gate. Eventually, a gentleman confirmed that my details were indeed in the system, but he then informed me that the gate had closed, and I would no longer be able to board the flight. This was completely unacceptable after I had been waiting for so long due to their delay and error. Following this, I was told to go to the service desk to speak to a manager. Upon arrival, I could not find the manager, and the lady at the desk was incredibly rude and disrespectful. She informed me that the manager had gone home and if I needed assistance, I would have to go to another level. To make matters worse, when they realized I had booked my ticket through Trip.com, they began criticizing the company, claiming they don’t work with them and suggesting I should have booked directly through their website. After all this hassle, neither Batik Air nor Trip.com offered any assistance in booking me another flight or providing accommodation for the night. Both companies failed to take responsibility, leaving me stranded. This is absolutely disgraceful customer service. I strongly advise against using Batik Air or Trip.com. Their lack of professionalism and care for their customers is appalling. Avoid them at all costs!

I book my flight tickets to Vietnam on the 5th of October. The next day I decide to change my return ticket date and time which is on the 6th of October. I was told that the previous full payment that I made will be charge as admin charges and I will have to make a new full payment of the new tickets. Such a rip off.

Where do I start! We were supposed to go on a trip to Spain and purchased the recommended connection package through them. The connection between the first flight and second was just over two hours, but changed closer to the travel date. It went down to 1.5hrs. I called and told them I was concerned if their were any delays that could be cutting it close. They reassured us it was more than enough time and to keep our flights the way they were. There ended up being a 1-hour mechanical delay and the airline told us not to get on the flight, as we would miss our connection. They offered to put us on a flight tomorrow. We called trip in a panic and we're told to approve the change and they would help us with the last connection. Well, once we made the change with the airline and called back, they were singing a new tune and told us it would cost us each the whole amount of our trip to change the last flight. We would have never agreed to accept the change with the airline and would have demanded a refund, while at the airport. We guaranteed would have received it as it was happening in real time. We ended up arguing with trip all night and the whole week we were supposed to go on our trip about refunding us for something that was out of our control. They should have changed our flight when it changed over a month ago, but lied and told us we would be ok, and if not, they would help. Who knew that help meant charge you double for your trip or say goodbye to the money you paid. We called the airline and told them what was happening and that their delay caused us to miss our entire trip. They said they would give full refunds if the flight offered didn't work for us, but because we booked through a third party platform, the refund had to come through trip. We told trip this and they said they would handle it. We'll they just kept passing us on to a new person every day, not making proper notes on the situation and asking us a few times if we had gone on our trip! I have never had to repeat myself to so many people in my life! They were completely useless and 100% relayed the wrong information to the airline, causing the airline to deny the claim. We called the airline repeatedly and were told, yes, we were entitled to a refund. It went on like this with trip for weeks. We finaly gave up and contacted our bank. Trip called us every day demanding we tell the bank to take the charge back off and they would help assist with our issues. They still didn't understand that we missed our entire trip! I will never book off a third party platform, especially Trip.com. I have heard horror stories from other people, but never took it seriously, until it happened to us. They are a money hungry company, with terrible customer service. Trust me, do not book with them!

Absolutely dreadful customer service! A property was booked for 7 people (from 3 different families) as accommodation for a wedding, with confirmation emails being sent up until the day of the booking. After driving 7 hours to the property, we called to find out more check-in details (a private property with lock box) and were told we couldn't check in or stay in the property. They couldn't provide alternative accomodation and were not willing to help us. After a month of using the chat feature, over 40 emails and pointless calls, they are not providing the refund of the initial property, price difference in booking price for new property and compensation (all promised over the phone and in writing). We have submitted our bank details 5 times via links sent through email which they claim are incorrect. They are refusing to escalate it further and claim that if Visa or Watchdog get in touch it will be only with their social media team. Completely incompetent and unhelpful. This has caused horrific stress for us and disturbed a wedding, family holiday and general day-to-day life. We are still in the same position and have lost out on a lot of time and money.

“I dedicated over two months to my investment journey, but when I tried to withdraw for the first time, my account containing more than $430,000 was locked. I was told to get in touch with customer service, but my withdrawal requests have been overlooked. After discussing my situation with friends, they suggested I reach out to M A D A C O V I . C O . They were incredibly helpful and assisted me in successfully retrieving my money.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TICKET CONFERMATION CAN TAKE UP TO 24 HOURS AND EVEN EXPEDITED CAN TAKE UP TO 15 HOURS. PROMISED FULL REFUND EMAIL AND STILL WAITING AFTER CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE 3 TIMES!!!

TFL/London Underground does not accept QR codes - you have to have a booking number to print tickets from one of their machines. Trip.com do not supply this. This caused us a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety and wasted time. Not being able to speak to a Trip.com rep by phone didn't help either (just recorded messages following their press1/press2 phone system). To make matters worse our return overground train ticket also didn't work. The guard told us the expiration travel date was invalid but fortunately, he took pity on us as it was late and allowed us through the barrier. Trip.com's only proposal for a resolution, via email, was for us to buy new tickets and they would look at refunding them but did not offer a guarantee to reimburse us. Beware!

The error occurred when I was adjusting… The error occurred when I was adjusting our flights to fit within my daughter's school schedule. Without realizing it, I accidentally changed the return date instead of the departure date—an innocent mistake. Upon noticing, I contacted Trip.com immediately. They offered to change the tickets but couldn't confirm the payment amount at the time, promising to inform me if the change was successful. While waiting for their feedback, I contacted KLM directly. They confirmed that plenty of seats were available on the flight I wanted, but since I had booked through Trip.com, KLM was unable to assist and advised me to request the changes through Trip.com. Later that day, I received an email from Trip.com saying the change had been declining, and I was instructed to use their online portal to book another date. When I did, the only options available were either two business class tickets for the day we had initially planned to fly—where they would cancel our original tickets, meaning we would forfeit the entire amount already paid and would have to rebook at the full business class rate—or paying an additional €2500 to secure a ticket on another day, cutting our trip short by two days. Ultimately, we ended up having to pay €10,000 for the return tickets to South Africa because of the way this company conducts its business. Their behavior is nothing short of predatory, exploiting innocent mistakes and leaving customers with outrageous costs or ruined travel plans. Despite seats being available, they refused to provide a reasonable solution, trapping us into these exorbitant fees. Please be careful and use any other travel agency—this one is honestly shocking.

Worst service I ever faced in 14 years. Customer support do what they can, but basically you will end up having to buy new tickets with an actual airline, thus you will lose both time and money by using their "service". AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I had a booking with trip.com, flights and airport lounge. weeks after the booking. trip.com sends me an email the lounge would be not accessible 24/7 as advertised. chat support doesnt help. phone support promised a call on the same day by a manager. this was a saturday. I was immediately suspicous. of course I didnt receive a call. instead only emails. I tried phone support. phone support again said something different regarding the lounge than text support. again a call was promised and again I received no call. they offered me 1/2 of the lounge price as credit on their platform. wtf is going on with trip.com? promise after promise, no result. long waiting times on phone support.
