Zero Star Got my meter reading other way around. Was never helpful to sort it out despite complaints. No tracking of previous discussion.

Signed me up to a phone contract alongside gas and electricity, which I said I didn't want. I called to complain. I looked at my account and phone contract is still there. I called again and they denied I had one. I have cancelled everything with them as they seem sketchy.

Disconnected my broadband in error - then quote up to 10 days to reconnect their error! Call handlers putting phone down when call gets difficult - no rationale as to why they can't just reconect same day as they would do if service just went down! Horrendous customer service and tried to pass me back to Origin who I had been transferred from - avoid at all costs!

Ever since changing to utility warehouse my service has been terrible. My broadband is not reliable I have days where there is no broadband at all. It wasn’t my decision to change it was my previous provider

UW have been consistently awkward in my efforts to resolve and overbilling scenario on my elderly and disabled Mother's bill. She's in and out of Hospital and we're having to sell her property to fund onward care. UW have not managed to prove the liability they claim, due to the fact it was already paid to Octopus Energy for that period. She's now being threatened with debt collection activity for money she clearly doesn't owe. This is an utter disgrace. Therefore, I'm afraid, I must report far below acceptable treatment in this matter and thusly, significant dissatisfaction with UW's service, of which she had been a customer for some years. Not to mention a Smart Meter was fitted without her knowledge or consent. Very difficult to get hold of anyone to sort any problems out. Standard automated emails, broken processes, useless chatbot, and don't answer the 'phone. An absolute shower.

Avoid UW at all costs. I have rang them more than multiple times saying the same thing over and over to cancel the previous account there were to begin with because I am with a different company provider, they told me on the phone the account is now closed and yet still to this day months later I am still receiving bills telling me iv fallen behind on the payments. This company has continued to ignore my simple instructions of telling them to close the account permanently as I do not want them as a provider at all. I have repeatedly told them I am not owing any money to the company because Iv told you time and time again to close the account in which they said it is but clearly they will happily still bill households for money and ignore what people tell them on the phone while being rude to you as well.

Phoned today to query a number of billing items. Was on the phone ages and kept being passed to different staff for separate items. Staff were in very noisy call centres making communication difficult. The 4th advisor asked me to hold on for a brief period while she sought the answer; after 35 mins I was cutoff. Redialled and had to keep repeating myself to 5th advisor who then kept repeating same answer which meant she did not comprehend the query. Requested yet another escalation merely to seek someone who could understand. Very frustrating and poor service. Only staff no 1 dealt with the first query well and efficiently, after that all went downhill.

I've been with utility warehouse for over 17 years as a 4 bundle customer, recently moved house but only needing electricity the bills they are sending me are shocking over £200 per month for a 2 bed cottage, no smart meter no budget account, months later finally sorted ,I shall be switching ASAP, customer service 17 years ago phone answered within 13 secs ,today 1 hour if your lucky and don't lose the will to live waiting then asked loads of security questions even though you have been told that they recognise you from your phone number. Their gas and electricity are cheaper yes but Internet, phone line and mobile are more expensive than elsewhere. My advice is shop around and buy everything separately

Utility warehouse has the most awful customer service.. You will be bounced around like a ball, none of their representatives know what they are talking about. They will keep you on hold for more than an hour just for querying a bill.

Total rip off not informing our contract had finished. Avoid at all costs. Lots of other suppliers far better.

Shockingly bad. Average electric bill for 2 bed home in UK is £110 a month. UW began with a speculation of £160 a month then 6 months later claimed they should have been charging £475 a month! Apparently we now owe them thousands. This company are scammers who exploited vulnerable people. Avoid at all cost.

They are great until you have an issue. Once you have an issue they are completely and utterly incompetent. You cannot speak to anyone who can help. My gas meter has been broken for 6 months and I’ve now had to report them to the ombudsman. If I could rate zero stars I would. I have called them maybe 20 times and the issue with my meter has not been resolved and they won’t commit to a date for fixing it

Appalling customer service. Even with smart meter they couldn't get the bills correct. Increased my bill without forewarning in the first instance. Then when I decided to leave, suddenly I was slapped with a £540 bill due to reconciliation differences which hadn't been there during my time as a customer. Inept doesn't begin to describe it. Avoid avoid avoid

Sold a new fibre connection but it’s never actually worked. After 3 months of calls for progress finally found it’s not possible to have fibre. I have made lots of calls and got different variation of progress. They promise to call with updates but never call back. Appalling customer service.

Certainly! Here’s a reworded version of your email: My elderly neighbours were recently switched to Utility Warehouse under false pretences by one of their “consultants” who cold-called them, claiming that Utility Warehouse had taken over from Octopus Energy. Unfortunately, my neighbour believed this misleading information, provided his details, and was promptly transferred to Utility Warehouse. Soon after, he received an email from Octopus stating, “Sorry to see you leave,” which understandably caused him and his wife a great deal of distress, as they had no intention of leaving their current energy supplier. The couple, aged 91 and 88, have spent several days worrying that they may have been victims of a scam. It is well known that some of these sales consultants use deceptive tactics to convince vulnerable people to switch providers, simply to earn their commissions. Utility Warehouse should hold these individuals accountable and impose penalties when such unethical behaviour is uncovered. ---

After my withdrawal request was denied, I was unable to access my trading account. In addition to being quite frustrated, I was worried that I would lose my investment in this circumstance. Similar account issues are encountered by many investors, which can cause them to lose faith in trading platforms. However, after I contacted them C O V S E C L T D effectively assisted me in getting all of my cash back.
