Terrible company. I have just received my bill after a two days trip to Marrakesh that cost me £360 plus VAT roaming charges. I understood that data roaming can be expensive outside of Europe before travelling so I only turned on data roaming for Google maps for a minute to be able to find my hotel. When I told them what happened they refused to lower the charges. This is daytime robbery. I am now cancelling my contract with them never to return.

I have been charged more than double what my meter reading was, I asked if the smart meters don't count and haven't really been attended to properly, I can't afford to pay what utility warehouse has charged me and the worst thing is I was charged before I put my heating on just before winter 😭😭😭

Bad from start ,my partner got a fishing phone call who got her to change supplier (82 years old) I rang and cancelled it the next day they were charging her for a mobile contract which she has never had a mobile ,and energy,she has no gas to her house , they said they would cancel the contract but she receives a bill for £31 every month even through I keep ringing them to explain she was only with them for one day,how can I stop the bills as it is making her I’ll ,thank you

I joined UW after my friend started working for them. He introduced me and tricked me into joining basically. In the end after 12 months It cost me way more than what it would have if I’d have stayed with the company’s I was already with and using. There was numerous confusions of the cost of internet that I was receiving. From day one the signal was shocking so I rang UW several times to explain that since having UW broadband my signal strength had weakened severely but all I got back from them was ‘we’ve made some changes so give it a couple days to see if it gets any better’ which I did on several occasions. (I’ve given up now and got a bit bored of telling them the same thing over and over so I’m just waiting for my contract to run out in May and I will return to my previous provider. The cash back cards I received would not work so I had them returned as I think they’re more hassle than theyre worth. I do go shopping but the shops giving the best cash back I would never use so they seemed pointless, or to the point you’d be spending lots of money unnecessarily just to knock a couple pennies of your monthly bill. I kept being told to pass the word around to get more people involved with UW straight away after joining them before even getting any experience with company as I would get £50 off my bill. No one was interested and I’m so glad that no one joined up due to my asking as I’d be pretty embarrassed now. All in all i have been disappointed with UW. I would never return. The 1.5 star rating on here says it all!!

This company needs closing down. Not only does it not act within law but it likes to bypass when it’s acted out of law. This company sent Haste to my property cut off my gas since 8th October which wasn’t even addressed to myself, and think they can dismiss my statement of truth. Not only will be statement be witnessed by notary. Court proceedings will start. I am going to push for commercial lien on this company and most probably will be instructing court bailiff to recover what they owe me as they are now debtor. Don’t let this company (friction) bully you. Take action as no one above law. See them in court. Actions taken on said day was for another person and not me. My children are born with illness. This company think I will let this pass. Never!!!

Would give no stars if possible, Avoid at all costs. There a pain to deal with, overcharge you on gas and electrics and disobey the ombudsmans ruling, bunch of criminals.

Scam company . Over charged. At my wits end with them. They make life impossible! and it wouldnt surprise me if someone ended up committing suicide over this company, its mistakes and over charges and lack of customer care . Satans warehouse more like.

Dreadful experience. Property empty as selling sending in monthly photos of meters but totally ignored. Estimated meter readings far higher than actual. Accepted verbal readings on selling day but have entered far higher elec reading but correct gas reading. Trying to recoup money and ensure contract ended. Have requested managers call back.

My wife swapped everything over to these supermarket scammers, They promised the world including TV although we discovered they don't provide that service and now two months after canceling they cancelled our origional supply that we had reconnected to.Kids no Internet or tv for two days due to having to return to Virgin.Stay away
