I have never had a more frustrating experience than with Utility Warehouse. We have been consistently over billed with no explanation, or five conflicting (nonsensical) explanations. We finally managed to escape their clutches and are now in the middle of a formal complaint with the Ombudsman. Not only have we paid excessive and completely inaccurate amounts, the amount of time spent trying to rectify the problems every single month is beyond a joke. Avoid like the plague.

In a matter of a few months the four utilities I get from UW have gone from costing me £80/£90 a month to the latest bill of £145 which I can’t afford to pay. The cost of the gas alone for 2/3 units is £61.50! This is a company going down the drain and I would say to anyone to steer well clear. I would change energy supplier but can’t do so at the moment, even Compare the Market is not doing price comparisons. I am more than happy to add my name as I don’t give a damn about offending these rip off merchants. My name is IAN PYE.

UTILITY WAREHOUSE are one of the most fraudulent companies in the UK and India which is where all their UK income is shipped into a blind Trust. They will never pay you back for power you have not used. We closed a retail shop almost a year ago and they tried the guess your usage scam and took the funds from our account. Currently they owe us 4800 plus double compoensation and dispite wasting another 678 pounds on phone calls and their constant promises to repay we still have receive nothing. Now we will file for fraud and sue them publicly after we have a long discussion with the newspapers complete with meter readings, every email and transcripts of phone calls. Anybody else wanting to file with us as a group please contact us.

Do not believe the hype about how much they get awards for x, y and z. One if their leaders contacts all the partners and more or less pushes them into voting for UW, so as it's partners who have a vested interest in the business the votes aren't worth anything. I was a distributor/partner in 2014 but the company have rapidly gone downhill in my view. Do not sign up with them as a partner under any circumstances.

Shocking Company, 45 minutes in the telephone queue and gave up, 15 emails and rubbish responses, unable to call customers the dial system not working - avoid at all costs. UW your customer service is in the gutter.

It is the worst running business in England and honestly,1 star for their rating is too generous!!! In Feb 2022 we contacted this company .For 1 month they could not install WiFi,they sent us about 7 sim cards,every time previous one was cancelled because of some issues and miscommunication in their system. We spent about 15 hours total on a phone with their call centre. And they still couldn't arrange their staff to come to our house and install WiFi!Eventually we get fed up and cancelled a contract with them.Even cancellation process took 3 hours on a phone...Even after cancellation they still send us sim cards and now they sent us outstanding bill of 89£ for a services that we never used!!!Honestly it is shocking. Unprofessional horrible service.

Avoid this bunch of scammers especially a man called mel from avonmouth cook street who recommended this bunch of con artists really who in there right mind would want to switch to this cheap ass scammers utility warehouse what a joke saved by the bell

Horrendous customer service. We were with them for 2 years and had nothing but horrendous service. They were expensive! customer service were always super friendly and helpful on the phone making all sorts of promises of solutions and call backs and putting things in writing for proof that nobody ever ever did! We closed the account 4 months ago and still receiving bills despite paying happily to a new provider.. we contacted to query and again the ‘lovely’ lady on the phone said we shouldn’t be receiving anything more and to ignore any bills.. but they just keep coming! Awful awful awful cannot recommend against this business enough! I’ve never had to call and complain about service this much and they just don’t care or do anything

Customer service is s joke. They promise to call you back and it never happens. Only been with this company 5 months and have been very disappointed. I phone every week to try and get our problem resolved. I’m either promised a call back or get cut off after being put on hold. Emails don’t get answered. Absolute waste of time.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS Hours and hours and hours in a queue waiting to be answered, this is no exaggeration, you have been warned, and then to be deliberately disconnected, This company left me and my 4 kids to freeze on the coldest night of the year 12/12/22, with no heating, no hot water, and no gas to cook. Still no gas at the time of writing this 14/12/22 What do I have to look forward to, more hours in a queue to get an explanation?

A sales rep called Alan came into our home and mis-sold us a full package. We were told we could switch from pay as you go to direct debit on our gas and electric. Ended up spending 24 hours without gas and electric because they havent been swapped and theres no emergency number that deals with pay as you go metres, puting tropical fish at risk of death. The wireless broadband was meant to be 3 times faster than when we were with vodaphone but it's 3 times slower. Don't switch to Utility wearhouse, it's not technically a scam or pyrimid scheme but it may as well be. Trying to cancel the phones since it was stolen this weekend and currently been on hold for an hour. Nightmare company, avoid at all costs. If anyone tells you theyre good theyre just trying to get 50 quid off their next bill-told ya may as well be a pyrimid scheme.

Moved into a house that UW supplied. 29 days after the previous tenants had left. They have charged me for electricity I haven't used despite proving to them I didn't move in until the date I said. Contacting customer service on the phone on average the wait is 40 minutes only to get passed to another department to wait again, very frustrating, the letters they send are intimidating threatening bailiffs/ debt collection agencies. I have paid them what they said I owed however now they owe me money they are even hard too speak to. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!

Would give them a minus score if available stay away at all costs Fooking joke spent 1hr 35 mins waiting for someone to answer regarding debt left by my tenant to be told if I don’t go with them for my energy they will send the debt Recovey to the property and force entry and turn off so I can’t get energy from anywhere AVOID AT ALL COSTS

hold 1hour and 10mins absolutely disgusting, I'm in the process of moving disabled and have no time for this, you can barely do anything online your so outdated i would probably be better off going to Bedrock and asking Fred Flintstone to sort it out. I've had enough now ended the call and will try again in the morning. I will not be taking UW with me number 1 I cant and number 2 why would I, avoid like the bubonic plague if I was you.

1 star is too high for this company, if I could I would give no stars. I have been battling for 3 months, now into the 4th to get the account sorted. They took over £400 off me for a period I wasn’t even liable for, they refuse to reply to my complaint emails. For such a basic task of amending a date and reissuing a bill they seem to be making it 1000000000x harder than needed. I could go on endlessly about how you should AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Absolutely disgusting service received and j will not be staying with them, a single woman telling me I need to pay over £200 a month….JOKE!!!

Been on hold for over 30 minutes now it 09:20 on a week day. It couldnt be a quieter time and yet no one to answer their calls. Appaling customer service. Why do we put up with this kind of rubbish?

Everything went wrong, moved house, billed twice for same month in my new bill, billed me the month before moving into my new house. Promised to suspend my direct debit until resolved but the money was taken out of my account. Issue still unresolved and this has been going on for a month. The worst customer service and no one being accountable

Dreadful customer service at Utility Warehouse I decided I would write a letter to the board of directors, I sent it signed for so I know it's been received, it has come as no surprise they have not even had the courtesy to acknowledge
