Ordering was very easy, but was not informed that delivery would be from outside of the Uk. I felt that delivery time was shocking and the tracking system did not move for 3 days. Excellent price on the item but would be reluctant to use again.

There seems to be some delay on the shipment reaching this, as deliveries are usually completed within just a few days after dispatch. I found it very difficult to understand what the person was saying and I didn't actually get the answers I wanted. I ordered an iPad on 21st june and was told delivery would be 5-8 working days. It has been 9 days already and apparently it is still not with the courier. I am anxious to receive it ASAP as I bought it to take on a writing holiday leaving July 10th. I still have no definite idea when it will arrive. Not a happy customer at all.

The order was shipped out from our warehouse on 25-June, on the way to the courier's delivery depot. This would normally take just a few days to complete, however, it seems that the shipment has taken longer than usual. As of this writing, we were advised that the parcel has arrived at the location of the courier's depot. Courier should be updating their records within the next day. Ridiculously slow delivery. I bought a camera from value basket as they showed a UK warehouse and 4 in stock when I ordered. Delivery quoted as 6-8 days. On day 2 I got a message saying I'd been upgraded to priority delivery so expected it sooner. The carrier eventually received it from value basket on day 9 and because it's Thursday are quoting delivery after the weekend- 4 days time! Do they really have a UK presence with stock or has this been imported? I'll be interested to see if it has a UK warranty when it eventually arrives!

An order was placed on the 12th June 2015 for a not inexpensive camera, a delivery date was promised for the 23rd June 2015, I waited in all day for the package which never arrived. When I asked by email for confirmation of a new delivery date I was fobbed off with an apology but not a confirmation as requested. On the 24th June 2015 I sent an email specifically asking for a delivery date as I would need to arrange for somebody to be at the delivery address to sign for it...as yet I have had no reply. You have had my money now for 2 weeks and I have absolutely nothing to show for it, so to say I am disappointed is an understatement.

Delivery is very slow, I still haven't received my phone after 10 days. DPD couriers give very little information. I stayed in for two days 23rd, 24th June. What a waste. The more I think about it the more I get annoyed.

I am disgusted at the poor quality of the phone. I had to send it back it went all the way to hong kong and it still doesn't work. I paid £349.00 for this phone it isn;t of merchantable quality, I bought it 5 months ago, and haven't had any joy out of it. I try phoning cant get hold of any one complete waste of time. Not impressed with your company at all.

Not recommended. 14 days money back guarantee doesn't mean you will get them! Ordered nikon d5300 camera - box was opened without instruction inside, lenses box without any sign. Would send back - they don't give the address for refund. Now is involved my bank in this case. If they will not take item back- will send camera to Nikon for expertise - don' t thinking it is new and original. I paid 459.99£ for headache for next 3-5 months !

I have decided to give Normal, but it can be much better if the buyer have more information regarding time scale for the delivery and the item location. This way it does not cause for concern as and when read other negative reviews from others. I was very pleased to see my item after 8days due to unaware of the delivery period. This the reason for any buyer to cause anxiety. I have purchased Canon EOS 700D DSLR Camera with 18-55mm IS STM Lens Kit is the present for my grand daughter's birthday and it will be open on Saturday 20th June until then I can't comments on the item as it is still sealed. I hope you may be able to improve your services and best of luck for your business. Thank you.

After 10 working days of my purchase I still waiting the delivery and from value basket I don't know when I m going to receive it. Apparently was shipped to a small company of courier that as they told me are not responsible of delivery failed.

I have had emails advising me that the item has been dispatched and telling me how to track but the links do not seem to work and I cannot find out where my £269.99 camera actually is. It is about 2 weeks since I ordered it and, even if the camera does arrive safely, I will not be using Value Basket again, no matter how competitive their price might be.

Whilst the camera price was the best around and we are happy with the product - The 'Poor' rating is because once we placed the order we had absolutely no contact re order confirmation [checked junk email too] even after we phoned and told it could take 24 hours to be confirmed. Website said dispatch 1-3 days so after a week and it hadn’t arrived we contacted them to cancel the order to be told is was out for delivery - no prior notice or arrangement. We said we wanted to cancel as not confident in the company and even though their inefficiency was our reason to cancel , we would be charged £25 'restocking' fee - what the hell is THAT all about? Oh after I strongly protested one guy on the phone said we wouldn't be charged and he would interrupt the delivery process if I sent him an email, which I did. Loads of emails came in once the word 'cancel' was mentioned'. Feeling a bit bullied into accepting it, we took delivery - sure the camera is all fine but that is overshadowed by the attitude of the company - so won't be buying from this company again. All this could have been avoided if they only kept us informed at the start.

I am extremely disappointed in the quality of your delivery service. We are going on holiday on 15th June and I thought I had given my order in plenty of time to receive the camera before we went away. Despite receiving an e.mail from Value Basket on 4th June 2015 saying that the product had been sent to the courier for delivery there is still no sign of it being delivered. Shall not shop with them again!

Ordered a Samsung Galaxy Tablet which was in stock on the face of it looked good, reasonable price and free delivery. I received a confirmation of the order and a notification that the order was being processed and I could expect shipment in the next 9-15 days. I immediately got back to Value basket asking for express delivery but got nothing back for a couple of days by which time I'd tried to cancel the order as I could have got the same product for a similar price on an overnight delivery. Communication is awful, I did get notification in the end that they had accelerated the process but it still took over 9 days to arrive. I then got told if I wanted to cancel the order I could just refuse to accept delivery, after all the aggravation I thought I would accept the delivery and I'm please with the tablet. Just hope it doesn't go wrong. The other problem is they don't give you a proper invoice so you can't claim the vat back for business. Apart from those issues, fine.

This is the second request for a review for this company I have had today, yet I am still awaiting the order to be delivered, which has not been despite me contacting Value Basket about where my order is. I was told via an e-mail on the 22nd May that my order has been processed quicker and that it would be with me soon, yet it is now the 29th May and despite the bank holiday and the fact that Value Basket must think my order has been received I have nothing. So until i receive the order I placed my rating for this company is Very Poor

Not fast enough service, not clearly told that it takes 8 days before it is processed then delivered. How long does it take to deliver a phone. Haven't even got the phone yet after order was placed 19/20th May. Very dissapointed. Spent money telephoning Valuebasket and DPD.
