Only had the boiler 5 years then we had no heating and no hot water we had a new circuit board put in and a few weeks later same problem Gas man came out said it was our new circuit board? 21/12/18 (cost £400) waited two weeks as it was the festive season (not the best time to be without hot water or heating and we are both pensioners) phoned gas man, said he got in touch with Viessman and they are going to sort it out (03/01/19) still waiting? If I could afford it I would have my new boiler removed and a different make installed

Our boiler needed attention before the warranty was up. Now it has broken down "over heating" = no hot water and no central heating ......... with an invalid husband. I have been bitterly disappointed.

Hi Eleanor, We are sorry to hear about the troubles you have been having with your boiler. Someone from our customer services team will soon try and contact you to ensure we understand what the issue is and whether we can provide support with an alternative installer if the product is outside its' warranty, or our own service engineer if it's under warranty. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Eight years ago, I bought the Vitodens 200W. Until now-with annual servicing by the installer all seemed to be going well. The last two summers I could turn the boiler off and depend on the Photovoltaic and solar panels on the roof for water and electricity. Wonderful. 4 weeks ago, there was a leak from the water tank-which was fixed. The boiler has not been able to start since then. 2 electrodes (I had to find them myself with difficulty_75 pounds I think- were replaced.) Now the motherboard-which will cost 700 pounds plus another 200at least to install. The boiler after 8 years is out of warranty. But what next? Can I trust it again? I am 78 and in a cold house for a month at the start of winter. I have lost trust in the boiler. What if something else goes wrong for more money? (This American notepad wont allow me to put pound signs.)

We will endeavour to resolve any issues you may have. Warm regards, Viessmann

We have had a viessman vitoden 111 installed for under a year and we have had loads of problems the remote control would not work, then we had the mother board replaced as a precaution and now the system keeps coming up with f 4. Engineers don’t come out straight away and not at all at the weekend. Any suggestions !

Had a Vitodens installed in 2012. Call outs to change blocked filters, this despite having a Magna clean fitted. Pressure loss constantly. Rad's take a while to warm up (water is fine). 21/09 both Rad's & water stop heating. Rang Viessman with error code on 22/09. Nobody will call out on weekend and will contact me Monday. Did not contact. Rang again to be advised I'm out of warranty (fair enough) so not a priority and they will contact me sometime later in the week. £225 + VAT call out. Today 03/10 I get a call to arrange a call out sometime later this week. Excellent customer service NOT. Needless to say a minimum of 12days without hot water/heating is unacceptable. Had a Baxi fitted last week with 10yr parts & labour warranty fitted. If you have to wait 12days for them to deal with warranty calls that says it all about their boilers. Do not touch with a bargepole

We had a new Viesmann 100 fitted by qualified Viesmann engineer in 2008, From the word go we had problems with it. We only were given 5 year warranty, NOT 10. In the warranty period we had numerous call outs. At the conclusion we have had in total so far 40 call outs because it kept going wrong. We have 3 filters on it to prevent sludge getting in. Numerous other bits to no avail. Viesmann tell us that the life expectancy is normally only 5 years. They also claimed that the water was sub standard. Our water company soon pointed out they were wrong. Our plumbers state we are the only people who have these problems and think the boiler must have been a Friday one. When they contacted Viesmann on our behalf they were given short thrift and no help. My problem is, I now need a new boiler and they only fit Viesmann.

Hose /pipe in boiler tore and all water in boiler leaked into downstairs room. Boiler 20 months old and under extended warranty. Viesmann refusing to honour warranty. I am in my 70s and have no hot water from boiler as it is not working. I am a pensioner and can't afford yet another boiler. Very poor customer service. No regard for client

Hi Joan, We are very sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing with your heating system. Would you please email us with your name, address and boiler details (serial number if you have it, located on the top of your boiler) to info-uk@viessmann.com, as we would like to support you further and we are unable to do so on this site.

I had my boiler installed in 2009; there has been problems of it dropping temperature since it’s been installed. I kept calling the person who installed it and his response was that I had a leak within my flooring. There has been numerous engineers who I called out for the same problem and the problem remains. I had home care with British Gas and still no changes, so I ended the plan. I got someone to check the flooring and no leak was found. I was recommended to a gas enginering company who said to me that these boilers was recalled sometimes ago and at the present my boiler was not fit to be purpose. enginer put a danger sign on it and also removed the fuse of my boiler. I would not recommend buying or using these boilers, I would also recommend having your boiler fully checked to make sure it’s working well and your property is safe.

Everything - APPALLING after sales service!!! Viessman have refused to honour the warranty for my 3 year old boiler and I have been without heating for 2 months - throughout December and January as they wrangle and avoid taking responsibility. Utterly disappointed with their shoddy, evasive approach.

Hi Rachel, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are very sad to hear of the problems you have encountered and can understand your frustrations. Unfortunately, the issues lie with inherent problems with your heating system and installation, not the boiler itself. We pride ourselves on our customer service, arranging for several engineer visits, at no cost to yourself, even though the issues have not been caused by the Viessmann boiler; which is the reason this problem does not fall under the product warranty. I believe you are now in contact with our regional sales representative and hope your issues can be resolved soon. Best Regards, Viessmann Limited
