“First class service”

“Ordered 2 cans of Scotchguard from this company as they came up reasonably priced and advertised next day delivery. Then read the reviews here and elsewhere and thought 'aw no', but was only 15 odd quid so prepared for the worst. Next day sure enough the delivery arrived just after lunchtime. So, for me anyway, no issues, good price and delivered on time as promised.”

“Can I say thank you, As a family of four unable to get toilet rolls as unable to get anywhere apart from the two roll packs. Which obviously doesn't last and the local shop allows one pack per customer. My supermarket delivery shop is always unavailable which I find out on the day its to be delivered. Thank you viking I ordered yesterday 6th and just received today 7th. Thank you so much.”

“I was terrified after I ordered a filing cabinet and then read the reviews here (wrong order, I know). Was sure I had just been scammed and would never see my money for the filing cabinet. Indeed I didn’t have any tracking number or estimated date of delivery after placing my order which seemed ominous. However after two weeks I reached out to customer services who informed me the packet was en route, and to my great surprise a perfect filing cabinet random arrived at my front door roughly two weeks later in perfect condition. So wanted to add my experience here to balance out the bad reviews, my experience was decent +! And very pleased with the final purchase, it ended up being cheaper, better quality and better looking than alternatives at IKEA etc., just maybe more stress involved because of the lack of transparency.”

“The delivery took 7 days instead of 1 day but it has arrived. UPS delivery was pretty bad. They said that they will deliver by the end of the day but never arrived until next business day midday. No timeframe or a call before coming so you can be waiting all day long and they might not even come. It was lucky I was home when they actually delivered...”

“I used Viking Direct as I wanted to use…somebody other than Amazon I used Viking Direct (actually using my partner's account;D** N****) as I wanted to use somebody other than Amazon for a purchase as I wish to 'do my bit' to reduce their dominance. Anyway, having ordered my item (30th December) ready to use in the New Year (a wall-mounted magnetic perpetual planner now you ask - not a cheap purchase) I was told it was next day delivery. Delivery happened as promised - excellent. The box seemed curiously odd-shaped for such a product but, well, design/packaging can be very clever these days etc., I thought. But no, rather than my product I actually received a box full of bin liners. Ok, these things happen, I understand that. I took pictures and described what had happened and emailed Viking Direct. From here on in (let alone previous error) it has been like wading through treacle. Amazon would have sorted the problem in a flash and via one communication...so far it has been back and forth with Viking Direct and I am no further along with resolving my incorrectly picked/delivered item or receiving my correct one. Probably should have stuck with Amazon...my bad.”
