It’s not Virgin itself as we have been away with them a couple of times now, it’s the holiday they are selling that I think is letting them down. I was very disappointed in the quality of the resort Needs updating. Breakfast ok. Lunch ok. Afternoon tea was a fast. Evening dinner was terrible. Infer structure was old and rotting. Some members of staff need a course on customer care. First room was uninhabitable, mosquito screens missing appeared unclean and smelled of sewage and not a matching item of furniture, broken and stained. The natural beauty of the bay was the best thing and the thing that made it bearable! Can not recommend it and will not be a returning customer

Great prices - that's why we booked. Plus I trust the company. But the website could be improved. There is very little information about the resorts compared to other sites. It is unnecessarily difficult to compare prices on different dates - again compared to other sites. 7 nights does not mean 7 in the hotel but 7 in total - confusing. There is no "print friendly" option - printing the confirmation wastes paper, it could fit on a double-sided sheet.

Hi, your doing something right have booked again with you but only flights this time. Couldn't get through on phone many attempts to get greater choice of hotel...but alas . Have booked hotels elsewhere....... shame..... there's a fantastic selection out there ....you don't have this on line and if you can't get through on the phone either we all dip out .....

I found Virgin had a good selection of hotels available, interesting that they only fly into Newark though. Bear this in mind when considering transfers. If you get a taxi from Newark you will have to pay double because Newark taxis cannot pick up in NYC so you have to pay for their return. I did find the website temperamental though, it kept crashing and timing me out of my search, which was a particular pain, when I was booking as I wanted to read the T&C, either I am a slow reader or the site is very impatient. All in all I am happy I have booked my holiday.

I prefer flying with Virgin airlines than almost any other when I visit the USA. They do care and the extras they offer make for an enjoyable journey when you are on a long haul flight. I know Virgin is now not fully owned by Richard Branson and I therefore hope that other flights used that fly under the virgin flag step up to the plate regarding customer care.

I tried to book the seats for my honeymoon. Someone elase tried to book them at the same price at the same time. Lucy tried really hard to sort it out and was fantastic but the system would not let her do anything due to them being the last sale tickets. This is my 13 time with virgin and most probably my last. Not only due to it being a special time but due to the feedback I gave from my last return flight where the air steward dropped almost everything on me and did not want to be doing her job that day. Its a shame!

I really wanted to book my park tickets online with the holiday but it wouldn't give me the option. The site did time out a few times but you retained my info which was very helpful.

Booked my Virgin Eastern Canada escorted coach tour. It eventually became evident that the coach tour is operated by an independent Canadian tour operator when Virgin could answer some basic questions relating to the tour. Overall the standard of hotels was at the cheaper end of the scale, and did not reflect the cost of the holiday. Some of the hotels did not have a restaurant and bar. The breakfasts at some were of the help yourself to a mainly cold service with disposable cutlery, plates and cups which we put in a bin like a fast food outlet. One of the hotels was not in Quebec City and a bus 15 - 20 min public bus ride was needed to get into the city. The overall rating is only due to the tour manager’s knowledge (not Virgin) and general information, and the fact that Canada was great. Neither of which could be accredited to Virgin who were basically agents for other companies.

Been looking at the holiday for a few days, and it seems in turn for doing this the price has increased. By nearly £100pp. i did some research and now realise this is a common thing that happens.... disappointing. I almost purchased with Thompson as price we a key factor when deciding which holiday. Virgin were lucky to keep my holiday because of this! Additionally, during the purchase pages it would have been helpful to have a "check details correct - same as passport". Again, a mistype is common, especially in the excitement of booking a holiday.... Fingers crossed the holiday is as good as i hope, and maybe will return to virgin for my summer holiday next year.

The first time I tried to book my holiday I got an error message saying information was missing and too ring 0800 123 164 which kept failing as unrecognised. I waited 20 minutes and did my booking again which went through without issue.
