“The course was quite long and a bit repetitive at times but on the whole very good. I would recommend it as it was very easy to navigate around and to follow on screen instructions”

“the course was very good easy to understand.i would however say that the start of the web site was not so clear we actually got kicked out of the site and we had to start all over again.and at the end we were not sure if we had finished and what happened next.so a little more calrity would be good as there was no one to contact to ask.”

“It took me longer than the suggested number of hours, but I was making notes: I was taught always to do that when I was studying. I got 100% so it obviously paid off. Having said that, the answers to some of the questions were extremely obvious.”

“The course was informative and easy to use. I particularly liked the fact that you could use it as convenient rather than sit for hours in a room. The format was clear and concise, just what I needed as a refresher course. My only gripe is that I have not found it possible to access my certificate yet and this is causing me some concern.”

“Didn't need the training, only needed to retake the test. Could have done with the option to skip the training. Level 2 is not rocket science especially if you've done it many times before.”

“I asked one of my office based staff to complete the course and give feedback. Please see below her comments: I have just completed this course, I started yesterday at 1:10pm and bearing in mind I am computer literate, I finished the course at 11:44 today. Total time to complete was 4 hours and 5 minutes. "I personally found this course very useful, it helped me a lot however, I feel it may not be the ideal course for Hildon as the course focuses a lot on fridge and freezer temperatures, the use of possible cross-contamination using knifes and a lot around different meats and high risk foods, prison sentences and fines. The good things in the course which would be useful to us the basic understanding of food law, hygienic premises and equipment and personal hygiene along with HACCP" I hope this helps.”

“Great service, very accessible. I really like it can be paused, I wouldn't have been able to do this otherwise because of my work rota. Thank you very much. I do have some criticisms though, which I hope are helpful. It is too easy to pass. A lot of the questions in the exams were quite commonsensical and don't require much knowledge of food hygiene to answer correctly. For example, Question: "What do you do if you find rodent droppings in the kitchen?", one of the multiple choice answers was "get a cat". You shouldn't be allowed in a kitchen if you think that is the right answer, regardless of how many other questions you get right. I love cats, but no. Three attempts at this test makes it very easy to pass, which could result in some kitchens having quite poor hygiene. Maybe more in depth questions about bacteria?”
