I originally left this review as a one star, however due to the care that was taken to make amends I've added two stars back. We purchased a wall bed from this company and had a terrible experience, though some of our concerns were resolved by the end. The delivery was a nightmare. The courier service is absolutely awful. The assembly process was even worse. We hired professionals based on the company's estimate of 2-4 hours for setup, but it took nearly 8 hours due to the poor-quality instructions. The written and video instructions were inconsistent and contradictory, causing hours of double-checking and rework. We were also missing over six pieces of hardware, which we had to purchase ourselves, adding to the delay and cost. The springs are extremely tight, and the bed does not stay in the down position, even with bedding on it. It springs up unexpectedly, which is a serious safety hazard. Additionally, the bookcase doors were uneven and after a few weeks one of the door latches got stuck down, so the door wouldn't stay shut. We reached out to the company and eventually heard back from the owner Dennis. He patiently heard our concerns and worked with us to find a solution that we felt good about. He also walked us through steps on evening out the the frame, and sent us a replacement part with instructions to fix the door latch. Dennis took down some of the discrepancies I could remember in the instructions and will be revising them. He also has adjusted the expected time for wall beds from 2-4 hours to closer to 7-8 hours.

The bed is great and gets the job (guest bed in a tight space) done. It is also very attractive. I am giving it 3 stars because the set up directions were not clear and the 3rd party delivery company was awful. The directions enclosed did not always match the hardware or the specifics of the bed. I also watched the instructional videos (which were a bear to navigate, by the way), and these seemed to not apply to my specific bed in many instances. Taken together these left me guessing at a few important steps only to go back re-do steps. Very time consuming. I also felt that additional tools were required (a drill bit extender for attaching the frame to the doors, for example.. he’s clearly using one in the videos and we had to run to the hardware store multiple times during set up for things like this, not on the short list of required tools). The wrong handle hardware was sent for the bed and this was remedied quickly with a phone call, but both sets of hardware came with the wrong screws even though I was assured after calling about the first set that this was a mistake. The LED light kit had to be spliced and reconnected because the plastic wire connectors were cheap and detached upon arrival. I could go on and on.. I’m happy with the final product but found the assembly to be very very frustrating for the cost of the bed. We are pretty handy but this assembly is best left to a professional contractor in my opinion. On the other hand, I cannot imagine a contractor would charge less than $1K to put this together and would still be following confusing directions.

The bed is beautiful and the installers did a great job. The springs do make noise when guests are using it, which is disappointing. The order process could be improved - we weren't asked to select a handle finish and no one confirmed our final choices before production began.

Very heavy to put together. You shouldn't sell in areas that do not have white glove delivery. I ordered and thought I had ordered white glove but then was informed that there wasn't. I asked to cancel the order but the bed was already in production. The agent that I spoke to both times sounded like he was stoned. Very goofy and unprofessional. The bed is fine. Medium to better quality. I wouldn't order again until white glove deliver is available in the Portland area.

The pre-purchased support was great. I ordered a ton of wood samples and talked to reps on the phone who were knowledgeable and helpful. The videos on the website were the best feature in helping me choose the right bed and features for me. Amazing pre-purchased experience. After the actual purchase is where things started to turn for me. The consul texts, emails and phone calls about the shipping started to feel like my life revolved around the bed. I appreciated knowing all the details but it was a lot. The post purchase support is really non-existent. The light on the bed didn’t work. I called and the person at Eilding told me to “screw it in tighter”. That was the full extent of the help. The light still doesn’t work. And since Wilding doesn’t offer support I guess we are just out. I will say the bed is extraordinary. It exceeded our expectations in how it looks and functions. It is beautiful. I was able to hire a local handyman to put it together. Took about 45 min. We LOVE the bed. I just wish Wilding would have post purchase care to match pre-purchase and the amazing quality as their beautiful furniture.

The bed is nice and as expected. As we opted for the wallbed that looks like a dresser. The delivery was unique and assembly was a little challenging. I am a handy guy and can do most things and a such was able to put everything togegther, they do provide some general instructions and a link to a video, it was just a little involved. Also on the delivery, it is big, and heavy. Even with 2 big guys you are more than likely not moving it into your home without damaging something. Plan to take it apart in the driveway where the delivery guys drop it and take it in one piece at a time. Last con, its a big mess of cardboard, styrofoam and plastic wrap so make sure you plan for that part.

the only thing in error was that there was no ridge on the side to hide my cord from the lighting system. The cord is hanging outside the side :-/

The wall bed is absolutely beautiful. The downfall is that it is overbuilt. To much trim on the front making the bed very heavy to lift. I have a 50lb mattress (the weight they recommended) and the bare minimum of bedding. I had a murphy bed previous to this one with a 90lb mattress and could lift it with one finger. Sort of wish I had not sold it even though this one is prettier.

The bed is fantastic. We love the style of the cabinet and the comfort of the bed. Where I have a problem is with the delivery. It started off pretty bad. They didn't bring anything to cut the straps off of the packaging and were pretty rude about it. Luckily my husband has some shears to cut the straps. Then they scuffed up my hardwoods and knocked a dent in my wall moving the bed. When I got upset about it the delivery guy said well we can leave it right here. Wow! I also paid a pretty hefty extra fee to have them unpack it and take off the packaging. THEY DID NOT. So if this is the company that you guys are still using to deliver then I would not be able to recommend this product which is a shame as it really is a great bed. I would love others for other rooms but I don't think I can with this delivery company.

After purchasing a regular Murphy Bed that comes down from the wall, the cabinet bed is much harder for me to set up by myself. It’s a great bed and very comfortable but not easy to set up by oneself.

I love the bed! It works amazingly and is very comfortable. The lighting system did not match the instructions and I had to buy a separate unit to complete the setup.

We slept on our Wilding Wallbed for several nights while the bedroom was being painted. We didn't expect it to be as comfortable as the Intelli-Gel mattress we use every night. The Wallbed mattress is very close to the floor, making it difficult for our 78-year-old bodies to get into and out of it, but we didn't buy it for us---it will be used in a small guest room, so we are satisfied with it.

We had to basically take the bed apart again due the the bed having too much spring power and was a safety issue. You would pull the bed down and it would pop right back up so forget about having kids or pets near it. Once we took it back off the wall and bought new tools and removed the springs (we followed the manual exactly) the bed is finally in working order. I call the engineering team to see how I could fix this and he told me to just “pop a spring off” which was literally impossible. All in all, the bed is now working. It is not lined up perfectly so you have to shove it closed.

I ordered an oak wooden wallbed, painted in white. First off the packaging was impressive. The printed instructions were really good, not great, but the video assembly clips found online were superb. Some of the preassembled mounting hardware on the frame was misaligned from the factory- this was an easy fix but a little disappointing for thousands of dollars paid for this bed. The gas piston did not fit as per the instructions, and we needed to use a clap to compress the piston to make it fit, again a moderate inconvenience during installation/ assembly. And my last gripe was the paint job- they only used one coat of finish paint (hopefully they primed the wood first?). Yes, I know the wood is oak and you can see the lines and gain in the wood, but I still see some thin stops with tan/brown wood color showing through where the paint was not applied correctly. Overall I am satisfied and would order again, just with more instruction given during pre-order.

For the price, I was initially disappointed it didn’t arrive assembled, but understood for shipping reasons, it didn’t. When we assembled it, we found provided parts didn’t anyways match what was described in directions- a couple examples I can’t remember where the corner support bracket was different as well as some screw heads where not square heads rather Phillips- a couple other things were odd. By the end of assembling it I was cussing this brand. The side bookcase isn’t custom made nor fits flush with the bed frame. The meeting points of the case, bed frame and top finish pieces are all different and don’t flow together at all.
