Most awkward buyer meeting I've ever been in. Attempts to ask questions about a listing were met with virtually non-existent and sarcastic responses. Basic information that would be asked on any buyer call was met with the absolute shortest response I've ever heard. "Yep", "because that's what the market calls for" and "that's the valuation we gave it" aren't enough for a buyer to make an educated decision whether to submit a funded LOI.

I worked with some local brokers in my hometown of Tulsa before working with Website Closers, I wasn't impressed, I had to do a lot of the work myself, And I just wasn't impressed with the effort they put in. Nate valuated my company at a higher number, and we actually got that number.I didn't think we were gonna get any offers. I paid off my house and personal debt with the sale. Nate was much more knowledgeable than previous brokers I've worked with in the past. I was very impressed with the Nate’s knowledge of and understanding of the financial documents. Nate was confident when he spoke. He’s very analytical. And I could tell, he had a lot of knowledge about the industry. He told me the good and the bad, which I appreciated. I did some research on Website Closers. And it seemed like they had a lot of successful transactions, a lot of good reviews, which made me feel even more comfortable. I felt good that I was backed up by Website Closers, and as well as a good representative of the company, Nate Lind. Nate’s not only a great business broker, but he was a good psychiatrist, and psychologist for me, I backed out maybe 10 or 15 times, and he was sympathetic to me, he wasn’t mad at all. He didn't push me in any one direction, I didn't feel pressured by any means. A good business broker such as Nate, it's not just numbers and analytical data, it's very much an emotional game, as well. And he handled that quite well.

I cannot say enough about Nate and Website Closers. I’ve done deals myself before but had trouble selling this most recent business. I went to Nate, and he had over 40 potential buyers and everyone I got on the phone with was super qualified. We ended up getting the right buyer for the right multiple. I would highly recommend Nate.

Unprofessional and hostile to female investors. My experience is mainly in SF and NY-based acquisitions so I expected a “culture difference” in Florida, but was still surprised with my engagement with this company. After receiving initial information about a company, I sent the broker my assessment that it’s last year increase in profits was due to acquiring one particular contract and asked if they had IDIQs or other more stable sources of revenue to justify their longer-term profit projections. The broker’s response was highly pejorative and insulting, as though he took umbrage at needing to provide data to prove a company’s valuation and asking price, and didn’t answer my question. I am not sure why he felt the need to bring gender into this discussion, either. It was so egregious that I forwarded the email to the founder and managing director, but did not receive a response. My impression is that this company is not skilled, catering less-sophisticated investors, and certainly did a poor job representing this particular company. I would not recommend this as a buyer or seller.

We were under contract with Website Closers for two years and believed going in that we would fall along with their marketing messages and be sold within a year per their high percentage sales marketing language. Inside of the two years, we were presented with no fewer than four L.O.I.'s (as a fully qualified SBA seller) that all fell through. In all four instances, we were highly disappointed with the quality of the buyers - all four of whom were unable to qualify for funding with the SBA. While I believe that the people involved with us at WC had good intentions (the brokers), we were left at the alter four times with nothing to show for the hundreds of man hours invested on phone calls, preparing financial reports, and taking valuable time away from running our actual business (which had record profits the final year under contract.) I would advise anyone considering working with WC to negotiate a shorter term contract (6m vs 12) and require that any buyers submitting L.O.I.'s have pre-financing approval with proof of assets / funds prior to considering any offer. We are moving forward with a WC competitor. I found our experience with WC to be for lack of a better word heartbreaking with virtually nothing to show for our time with their agency after two years.

Jim Matheson marketed my busines for me. He did a great job. He priced it correctly, received substantial interest, and helped me come to an agreed upon offer. He also helped me regarding the first payment, when the buyer tried to call off the deal after all the papers were signed (jim explained to the buyer that not only would i, the seller, would sue, but also website closers would sue him). so in the end, the buyer went through wth the deal. My only complaint (the reason for 4 stars instead of 5), is that after Website closers received their payment, they were no longer interested in my problems. While website closers received all of the money they were supposed to get, I had a terrible time getting the remaining money from the buyer. With no more help from website closers, it took me months (and many emails, explanations, and threats) to get the rest of my money. It would have helped if website closers had been more involved in the entire closing process, instead of just until they received their money. i needed help explaining to the buyer the mechanics of transfering the business, as he simply refused to give me the necessary information to complete the transfer (it was an amazon busines, and this was supposed to be transferred over a period of about a month, but after the first payment on day one of the transfer process, website closers disspapeared). in the end, i received all of the money owed to me, but it would have been much better if website closers had helped facilitate the transfer of the business and the remaining payments that were due.
