“We love water wipes and they have become a staple in our diaper bag and especially when we are on the go. My son has a sensitivity issue and I have full confidence in this product and appreciate its ability to clean and hydrate his skin.
- Product gifted by WaterWipes Canada.”
“Very irresponsible seller. They won’t take a recalled product and do the proper refund. The manufacturer issued a recall because of bacteria contamination and asked everyone whose products were from affected batch numbers contact the seller to get refund. But Well.ca would not refund for the recall even though there is receipt, photos, evidence of the products. For a site that sells wellness products, this is extremely irresponsible and a red flag for people to be cautious about them.”
“I have been a customer with Well.ca since 2012. From 2012 to Sept. 23, 2024, I have spent a total of $12,895.68 in orders. Until recently, I believe Well.ca always used Canada Post to deliver. Until now I have never had a reason to complain or contact Well.ca. My recent order was delivered not by Canada Post but a new contractor, TForce Logistics. Despite large professionally made signs on our locked front and side fence gates, which states that deliveries are at the rear of the house via the laneway, TForce, threw my package over the gate and left it out in the garden in the rain. Neither I nor my upstairs neighbour access the front area of the house (we each rent a flat in a house). By chance my upstairs neighbour found the package. It was soaked through, but luckily the items, packaged in plastic, survived. I googled TForce logistics. The company has a "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau and 32 unanswered outstanding complaints. Obviously, there is no point complaining to TForce. There are a multitude of on-line reviews for TForce leaving 1 star ratings. That Well.ca would switch from reliable Canada Post to a bottom-rung company like TForce is very disappointing. I am aware that Well.ca has been purchased by the private equity firm Birch Hill Equity Partners. While correlation is not causation, given the well documented practice of private equity firms squeezing every penny out of the companies they buy and leaving behind nothing but a ruined company, I think it is more likely than not this will be reflected in Well.ca's business practices going forward. I have confirmed that everything I regularly used to buy through Well.ca I can get through Amazon.ca. From today's date, I will no longer order from Well.ca due to this change in business practice (i.e. shipping) and the likelihood of more bad practices to follow.”
“The product I received was damaged, and the seal of a liquid vitamin was broken. I have contacted customer service several times to get a return authorization.
I am not getting an answer from the company regarding how to return.”
“I have used well.ca for years. They are now horrible. I ordered product on the 11 August...still no product on the 22nd August. The responses from customer service are obvious from agents who do not read anything. I would not recommend Well.ca to anyone now.”
“Recently made an order from Well.ca and it was delivered to an old address, which they say is the "default" address. However, when I was doing the order, I noticed outdated Credit Card info, so I looked at my account and changed payment methods and I deleted old address and afterwards I made an order.
Well.ca says my address was never changed, but, I have proof on my computer. Customer service rep ignored my complaint essentially saying I was a liar.
Will never use Well.ca again. I will file a Paypal and/or credit card claim.
Stay away from Well.ca Worst on-line service ever!!!”
“They took the money and didn’t send the package and don’t want to communicate with me. This is the most disgusting online shopping experience in my life. I don’t advise anyone to give them money!!! Be careful!”
“I recently received two products from Well.ca, both with an expiry date of July 2024, which were on sale. These products were received in mid-April 2024. I contacted Well.ca customer service to inquire about the possibility of an exchange due to the proximity to the expiry date. In the past, I have ordered two of the same products and the expiry date was not until 2025. However, customer service denied my request and instead provided the option to return the products or purchase them again in hopes of receiving a longer expiry date. According to customer service, quality control dictates that any product must have at least a 3-month or longer buffer when it comes to expiry dates in order to be shipped to customers. Perhaps this is why the product was on sale. Unlike my experiences with other wellness companies such as Healthy Planet and Vitamin Village stores, I have encountered no such issues. I am very disappointed with the outcome.”
“There is a very high level of incompetence with shipping, getting orders filled correctly even reading emails at this company. I don't blame the morons in customer service I blame management who must be equally as unqualified as these issues seem to persist year after year. If you want a seamless experience I would recommend Amazon or buying local from some other retailer. Don't waste your time with these clowns.”
“Only order through them if you’re ok to wait longer than usual for your order to arrive. It’s been over a week and I have yet to receive my order. When I spoke to them they told me it was being processed. No email to indicate that is true and no estimated date of arrival. I will not order again through well.ca”
“I purchased a baby monitor from well.ca, but unfortunately, I couldn't get the camera to connect to the wifi. I followed the manufacturer's troubleshooting guidelines but still had no luck. In my desperation, I contacted well.ca customer service and explained my predicament. I urgently needed a functional baby monitor and wanted to return the product. However, they directed me to the manufacturer instead.
I spent another week testing the camera as per the manufacturer's instructions, but it turned out to be defective. I contacted well.ca customer service again and explained my situation, requesting a refund for the faulty product.
I made sure to request assistance in a polite manner and explained that I had a newborn and needed to resolve the issue quickly. However, it took me two weeks to finally resolve the issue.
If you happen to receive a defective product, it's important to note that returning it may not be a straightforward process. The company may require you to deal with the manufacturer first before honouring a return. This can be frustrating for both the customer and their overall experience with the business.”
“Ordered from well.ca for years and it's always been tedious. Takes them days to ship out orders, and items often arrive damaged. Customer service is often unresponsive, and prices are much too high.”
“I’ve been satisfied with their products and services but their shipping is very unreliable. They lost my order and were unable to replace it. However, they did give me a refund. In the future I’ll just save myself the hassle and order the same products elsewhere.”
“Recently, i purchased some items from well.ca, but, unfortunayely, due to Canada post strike, the delivery may be delayed. However, i got the products after two days. I am excited!”
“I ordered 4 products from this company, paid via paypal, their communication is excellent, they emailed me when they packaged and shipped the item and the items came within a few days of me purchasing the items, very quick! The packing slip inside the box had a short personal hand written note from the person who shipped the item, made me feel like they appreciated my business. I will continue to purchase items from this company, thanks, Mark”
“They pack everything safely. They put a personal message on the recipt. They have great prices. They have a wide vegan supply. Their Canadian eh. Fast shipping. They give me free shipping with spending as little as $35.00!”
