“I have been a member of WineFriend since 2017 and I love them! Not only are they New Zealand owned and operated, they are run by woman & they are simple awesome. Plus who doesn't like wine! I love the simplicity of being a member and also the surprise that I get each month. I have never had a wine that I have disliked and the name tags are a great personal touch making it easy to match to your dinner or your afternoon catch up with a girlfriend over cheese and wine. My palette has changed a few times over the years and it is really simple to make those changes so that my needs are met. If you have a problem and need to email the ladies at wine friend they don't send you back a generated letter, your treated like the special person you are and a personalised email is sent to you. I deserve a monthly treat and WineFriend is just that!”

“Winefriend has well exceeded my expectations. I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every single bottle we have had, I have found some delicious new varieties and have enjoyed the overseas options too. But best of all I have a much better idea about what I like so am able to look at a wine list and have a good idea about what I would enjoy. Thanks so much Winefriend, I recommend you to everyone.”

“Love the wine. Given it's a service for wine newbies, would be neat to see things like decanters, and cork removal explained, and also recommending gadgets for doing these things.”

“I joined wine friend after my daughter went to a promotion in the wairarapa. I decided to give them a try for three months and that was a few years ago. I love the story that comes with every wine and I haven't been disappointed yet. Having a professional taste the wines and recommending them really works, especially if you were a super market buyer like I was. I highly recommend Yvonne and her company.”

“I like drinking red wine. I hate shopping. I used to spend ages in wine aisles trying to pick wines then spend too much and not be happy with the result. Now a box turns up every month with drinkable wines. The WineFriend team are responsive and helpful and I don't feel like a number.”

“I reluctantly joined WineFriend sometime ago to keep a friend happy - she was a member and said I would enjoy it! After receiving my first box or two I was a convert! I look forward to our monthly delivery, tasting new and different wines. The team at WineFriend provide great customer service. I am now that person that urges my friends to join :)”

“My partner came across WineFriend and subscribed for me as a birthday present that ‘kept on giving’. I’ve been a member now for over 3 years and every month I eagerly wait my new delivery! Every single wine I get is fantastic. I especially love Yvonne’s descriptions on the neck tags which teaches you about the wine... it’s like a cellar door experience with each bottle! My wine knowledge has expanded since joining WineFriend and I most certainly wouldn’t ever be without it! Highly rated and enjoyed! I also must say the few times I’ve interacted over the phone I’ve dealt with truly delightful staff who have provided an outstanding customer experience! “I’ve loved WineFriend since I discovered them a couple of years ago seeing a box next to a colleagues desk. I was at the point that I was fed up with having to go to the supermarket for that evenings bottle of wine and undoubtably picking something because the label looked nice. I love the fact that it’s an exciting delivery each month seeing what I’ve been sent and I love the descriptions of the wine and suggested food pairing so when I go to the wine rack I can pick something that suits what we’re eating. Fab service, great customer service.”

“I very much enjoy my subscription to WineFriend - 1) it's very convenient & it allows me to have a regular top up of wine without me forgetting to pick some up at the store 2) I really enjoy tasting other brands and types of wine that I would otherwise not have chosen. I especially enjoy the Wild cards, usually they are the wines that I most enjoy and never would have chosen myself. 3) I like the loyalty gifts to give to your customers, so many companies focus on giving 'gifts' or deals to bring in new customers, I appreciate that WineFriend values loyalty. And in doing so I end up recommending you more!”

“We have been WineFriend subscribers for a few years now and it is truly a wonderful friendship. No more standing alone in the supermarket trying to choose a wine based on an uneducated combination of pretty labels, shiny gold stickers and price. It is exactly like the name says, a friend who knows LOTS about wines and provides you with a dreamy selection to try, hilarious tasting notes and every so often little surprises like upgrades and refer a friend gifts. We love our WineFriend.”
