“Every three months a box of new tastes and delights drops on my doorstep. The box introduces me to wines I have never tried before. In many cases I have gone onto buy a dozen.”

“We have been subscribing to WineFriend for about 18 months now and always look forward to our ‘treat yourself’ delivery. We love that we can change the frequency of our order and the contents to suit the season 😉 It has been great to try new wines from NZ and abroad, and must say we have never been disappointed with your selection.”

“I’ve been using Winefriend for a few years now. I originally joined to take the hassle out of buying wine and to start trying some new wines I wouldn’t have thought to myself. So far so good. I also really love how responsive the team are to your requests to change up your subscription because it’s summer and you only want to drink bubbles and rose.”

“We joined Winefriend because of the convenience and knowing someone has tried and approved the wines takes the guesswork out. We love that we get to try different wines you don’t typically get from stores. It’s lots of fun and we have never been disappointed. The fact that winefriend tailor your wines to your reviews is a great feature. We are very happy with our Winefriend subscription.”

“Being someone who loves to try new wines, WineFriend has saved me hours and hours of standing indecisively in front of wine shelves and reading the labels on each bottle. Plenty of cool stuff too! I've loved pretty much everything I've gotten.”

“Love WineFriend. I was introduced to Winefriend and loved the concept where my tastes were surveyed to determine what my wine preferences were, and then wine sent to me on a regular basis to rate and therefore continue to understand and fine tune those preferences. I love trying new wines that I know little about and WineFriend is ideal for exploring wines that you may otherwise never try. Many thanks Ray”

“This is a different experience altogether from the guesswork of buying wine from online retailers. I liked the initial questionnaire/consult to discover my preferences and categorise my palate so the wines I receive can be selected accordingly. This process is further developed over time as I rate and review my wines. The “wildcard” choices always hit the mark and the upgrades eagerly awaited, the tasting notes are refreshingly lighthearted and communication is exemplary. I’m a dedicated fan.”

“Once we did the questionnaire and started receiving custom selected wines we were surprised and delighted that the boxes of wine have fit so well with our wine and food habits. We used to stock up on wines we wouldn't end up drinking, but now there's always something to match our food, something we look forward to enjoying and something we haven't tried before.”

Tell them a little about yourself upfront and then each recommendation feels like it's been handpicked by your best mate - if your best mate was a wine genius, that is. They get your taste so spot on, you'll start wondering if they've been secretly wine-whispering to your taste buds. And let's talk about the top-notch quality of their wines; these bottles are like the Avengers of the wine world, each one a superhero in its own right. In fact, each bottle wears a little hero’s cape which features amusing and informative tasting notes, plus a QR code that directs you to your own personalised digital wine cellar. Since I buddied up with Wine Friend I no-longer waste time in the booze aisle of the supermarket and have reallocated that precious time to extending my death scroll on social media and searching through yet more movies on Netflix that sound great, but then I realise ten minutes in, that I’ve already seen! Finally, they are fast responding, genuinely customer-focused people. I’ve sent them some random requests and each time they’ve wowed me with their service. Trust me, you’ll love them too.”

“I joined because a friend recommended me, coupled with a promotion WineFriend we’re having at the time, and have been using them ever since 2-3 years now). I love the choices made on my behalf, the customer service is the best you’ll get! Friendly, knowledgeable and kind good folk! Highly recommend to anyone who has a busy life, wants to try different wines each month and have people choosing who know what they are doing.”
