“Wish I'd checked here before buying. Ordered almost a month ago, had absolutely no communication at all. I expected a delay but not this long. I've managed to get through to their customer helpline, but just get fobbed off with 'We'll chase it up'. I specifically asked to be contacted with an update and heard nothing. Told them I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund and was told I could only do that after 30 days have past since ordering - nowhere on the site does it state this.”
“If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I wish I had looked for reviews of WoodSheets.com online before placing an order with them. Almost everything I've since read in other reviews happened to me as well. They never pick up the phone and I'm pretty sure they just copy-paste their rare and unhelpful email responses. So here's what happened to me — please learn from this and avoid WoodSheets.com unless you want to be scammed and/or lose a lot of time:
I placed an order for four cut sheets of ply from Woodsheets on 9 April 2020 and was told to expect them within 3-7 working days. After about 10 days, I sent a polite email asking about the delivery, and received the first of only two responses: the delivery should take 3-7 working days, but really I should wait another 4 days. They added that I'm not allowed a refund because their line of work, custom-cut wood, is exempt from such laws.
I continued to call and email them about every 5 days to ask for an update and didn't receive a reply until day 29, when they said that deliveries can sometimes take up to 30 days and inferred that I should relax. After a total of 37 days, I finally gave them a google and found myriad reviews online by people who had had the same experience as I, or worse.
I immediately requested a refund from PayPal, citing everything that had happened and providing a print-out of our "correspondence", and today on 30 May 2020, PayPal notified me that I'd be refunded in full. WoodSheets has yet to get in touch.
Woodsheets.com appears to be a scam. There must be so many people who don't persist, eventually give up and never escalate the matter to PayPal, and perhaps that's what they count on. I fully appreciate that the Covid-19 situation may cause delays, but that does not explain or excuse their conduct. For your own sake, avoid them.”

I am annoyed that I didn’t look into this company before ordering plywood on their website.
Placed my order 7th May, no feed back, emailed them 6 times, no communication what so ever, no idea when or if my order was going to arrive, customer service is non existent, the phone just rings and rings. Told to press O and leave a message which then cuts you off. Am out of pocket as had to buy it elsewhere from a normal company which I got three days later. Running a dispute on this company with paypal to try and get my money back.
AVIOD THIS COMPANY! I cannot believe that companies can treat customers like this, no customer service support or possibility of feedback. Only use if you don t mind paying and waiting in limbo for ages to do your job.”

“I wouldn't consider using this company again and I would certainly advise others not to.
Short story: I ordered my items on the 7th April, when they finally arrived on the 12th May the quality was terrible.
Long story:
Order placed 7th April
Order initially received 16th April, however, it contained someone else's order and not mine.
Order returned 17th April
21st April Woodsheets confirmed the returned items had been received and my order would be re-processed.
No further communication until I chased them on 27th April. They were next to impossible to reach on the phone and finally replied by email on the 29th April saying the items would be completed in 3-7 working days and to allow another 4 working days for delivery.
I chased them again on the 4th May when my email was bounced back, and again on the 6th. I had no response.
My order finally turned up on the 12th May. The two identical items I ordered were supplied in different materials (hardwood ply and softwood ply) and there was a gouge out of one of them.
Things do go wrong and I think a real measure of customer service is how well companies handle things when they do go wrong and in this instance I think it was quite poor and in particular the communication.”
“Ordered MDF wood sheets 6 weeks ago. It remained in packing for 2 weeks until I called asking when they would come. They arrived and one piece had been damaged slightly (probably in transit), the damage didn’t affect the project. One of the items was 3mm shorter than the other same sized piece of wood so the project had to be amended slightly. The rest of the wood is MDF and does what it’s meant to do so no prizes there.
Most concerning were 2 missing items from the order. It’s been over a month since the order was received and despite numerous calls to wood sheets they haven’t sent it out. Customer service is next to useless saying it says it’s in packaging and they will email the warehouse to get it sent out. Another week passes and still not received. Apparently it will now be recut and sent. Still not received. The company seem to have little interest in the consumer and fulfilling the order. If I’d seen the amount of negative reviews on trust pilot I would never have ordered through this company.
Because of the missing items, incorrect cutting, slight damage quality and awful customer service I would not recommend this company to anyone.”
“THE WORST COMPANY EVER. Ordered items back in Feb, had to wait almost a month for the items to only receive 8 pieces of the 34 i ordered. The system said my order was complete and had to jump through hurdles to prove i hadn't received the whole order. After waiting another 6 weeks, i have now received a delivery today of the 8 pieces i already received and still waiting for the remaining 26 pieces! No end in sight.”

Took a month to deliver despite 3-5…
Took a month to deliver despite 3-5 working day claim. When order arrived (5 small pieces of MDF), 3 were the correct size, the other two were comically incorrect - 6 and 8 times the ordered dimensions!
Even their order stated the total weight should have been 0.96kg, which you think would have triggered alarm bells when the package they sent was about 10 kg.
Update: Got the same "your photos don't illustrate the problem" standard response that others have reported. Despite my photos having a tape measure in them. The MDF sheets they supplied are 600mm and 800mm despite my order being for 150mm pieces - total joke the pieces are comically large compared to those ordered, but they still are having difficulties understanding the problem. Think this place must have total morons working for them!

“Extremely poor service. We ordered a shelf, which they seemingly ignored the requested specification for. When we complained, they eventually sent us a second shelf which again was entirely incorrect.
Then then compounded their failure to deliver a very basic product by simply ignoring all complaint emails.
Absolutely pathetic.
Avoid at all costs, you can see from all the other reviews on here that his company are not worth using.”

Told we cannot consider a cancellation until 30 days after the order, and that it is "not their fault they recieve so many orders". Disgraceful company and poor customer service - avoid at all cost.”
