“On Wednesday I booked a surf lodge online at a discounted rate. (June special 35% off) confirmed and put my card details through at discounted rate. The receipt and booking confirmation then came through stating I am paying the full price. This is a £286.15 difference..!! I have emailed them 3 times and not heard a thing in relation to this. I have only had pestering emails reference my stay and this review. Completely disappointed by this and still awaiting contact to be made 3 days later!!”

“We stayed at Twitchen house which isba lovely park however although the bar area in the entertainment complex is air conditioned the rest of the room is not which makes it so hot we could not stay in there. Watching the entertainments staff sweating throughout the whole evening was no fun. The bar 51 area drinks and food are also quite expensive. Installation of air conditioning inside the entertainment area and restaurant is a must for the safety and comfort of customers and staff. The staff we encountered were always very helpful and polite. The park could benefit from re furbishing the old toilet block in the camping areas and also the indoor pool needs to be refurbished.”

“Wave machine absolute rip off!! We’re staying on the park Now and have paid £40 for our two children to have an hour on the wave machine. However once we got there we were informed they are in groups of 10. My children got a total of 4 minutes on the wave each. I went over to reception to complaint only for the staff to agree with me and add my name to a long list of unhappy parents. This should be made clear when booking as like many parents we would have spend our children’s spending money better. £200 an hour they’re charging when the groups should be no bigger than 5 max. Very poor customer service”

“Simple layout. The site details along with accommodation is very clear and well layout within the website. Booking is extremely simple and straight forward. “The website refused to work properly on a mobile device (I'm a web developer myself so I know it wasn't right) - the forms refused to acknowledge content so would throw an error that fields weren't filled when they were (especially Title). So I phoned instead and the lady informed me I could book over the phone but I wouldn't get the online discount, which I thought was unfair as it was the website to blame. So I eventually made it happen through the website but what should have taken 10 min took over 1hr.”

“Wanted to alter date within half hour of making booking and was refused point blank and then told I can pay extra administrative charge to bring date forward. Even though was a last minute Monday to Friday deal and wanted to change to the same weekend Friday to Monday instead.”
