This was a short family break. The lodge was spotless & we were very impressed with what was in it. It might be a little on the expensive side, but we got what we paid for & I would definitely book again.

the shop is a little expensive, could cut down on most products but overall the shop has a range of items. the wifi is very good but can sometimes be slow. i would highly recommend this park as it is family friendly and welcoming.

Stayed at this holiday park twice now & am going there again tomorrow! being a teenager finding things to do is difficult as many facilities are normally for younger children however, the arcade still gets me excited. Amazing views all around the park. the pools are fab including the waterslide. the entertainment is good & my younger siblings love it. the caravans are very clean. the food is good for value(try the chlili cheesebite!) overall its lovely & the staff are most helpful! don't listen to any bad comments

Stayed here last week for five days. It was our first caravan holiday. We were very pleasantly surprised and would definitely go back again. We had an old style gold caravan which was fine for our young family, perfectly clean. Frayed around the edges, but to be expected in an older caravan. We had some neighbours who played music but they turned it off as it got dark which we appreciated as the sound does travel. I think they got told off by security on the last night we were there as they were having a bit of a party, I think you have to remember that the caravans are close together, kids generally go to bed early, and I don't want to listen to other people, let alone their music! Go to the bar instead! The rest of the time the site was dead quiet. The facilities were great in the main building. The pool was fantastic and our toddler and baby had a great time in the pool. Our toddler loved the playground , the crazy golf and the flashing lights of the arcade. The views are amazing overlooking the sea and area. You will get a firm bum walking back up to the caravan after going to the bar. We had a breakfast, lunch and dinner here and found the food very good, and the value reasonable as the portions were large. The drinks were expensive, but not much more so than a bar back at home. The shop is very expensive, although they have a good range of alcohol and toys! I think we would take a first night of food and drink with us next time. There is a big Tesco in Illfracombe a short drive away where we stocked up. It is a really family friendly place, and I really appreciated the staff being so welcoming as I was worried our boisterous toddler was going to upset people, our baby screaming in the night would bring angry knocks, and there would be drunken people staggering around shouting at 2am...but it turns out families like ourselves were the majority and it really put me at ease. The sea air even made the kids sleep better than at home! Bonus!

Ants in the lodge. Total ripoff in the bars. Selling a 79p bag of maltesers for £1.45, who knows what they are charging for everything else. You should be ashamed ripping people off this.

Been as a child 2nd time coming back as a a adult. Last year we came as start of season so much difference coming back in different time of the year. This time we loved it so much there was so much to do for my little boy. The entrainment team at golden coast are inprediable. Josh Alanna Lauren and daz work so hard. I found daz the most entertaining fun star. The pantomime was brillant. The only problem we had was our caravan was cold i complained to reception and they upgraded us to sliver villa free of charge. Really do recommend woolacombe will be coming back again

The site was clean, some of the activities were quite pricey and the wrist bands didnt seem worth the money. The food there wasnt great, probably wouldnt want to stay more than a 3 night there.

What has happened to this place. Over 30years of 4/5 times a year holidays. Has it deteriated the past 2years.or what.??The Booking Staff are rude and arrogant. The Receptionists could not care whether they are there or not. The accommodation are filthy and trashed. Such a shame.....it was brilliant.

We were threatened 3 times to be kicked out just for playing music. The site manager and security Guards have no respect for any of the holiday makers, they talked to us horribly and made a few people cry. We will defiantly never ever come back to this place. The WORST holiday experience ever.

Golden Coast is fab! First time I’ve been to Golden Coast, and absolutely loved it. Already thinking of booking for next year. Didn’t eat on site as was easier with my kids to eat back at lodge. Facilities are very good, swimming pool was nice and warm and times we went it was quiet. May be different if it was school holidays. Nice bus ride around the parks and beach is lovely. Loads to do on park whatever the weather. Or if your like my family playing on the beach in the rain was also fun.

Went on a sun £9.50 holiday (2 adults and a 6 month old) and had such a lovely week- the staff are so friendly and helpful, answering all questions and didn’t make us feel stupid when asking “daft” questions (baby brain!). The food is really lovely maybe a bit expensive but it’s really nice and bonus they had a takeaway service! Only the indoor pool was open but it’s lovely and clean and warm too, baby change cubicle too which was a bonus! Also cannot recommend the pottery enough- the staff are so incredibly helpful honestly I cannot give them enough credit! Overall had such a fab time! If you don’t want to get the bus but want a day out I’d recommend driving 15 mins to Ilfracombe and park at the Quay (£1.10/hr) there’s lots of little shops, cafes, arcades and a little beach so was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay, our caravan was ready early so could check in earlier than expected, we enjoyed the amusements and the children’s entertainment! Great holiday and we will be back.
