“Claire’s in Moscow Idaho the ear piercing went very well. The after math at the checkout counter was a different story. The cashier held up a bottle of the aftercare solution and it was leaking and wet on the bottom. She wiped it up and said it wasn’t leaking and gave me a different bag. I came home to Oregon later that day and had half of the bottle had leaked out. I looked at the receipt and it cost me $119 dollars. Very dissatisfied paying that much for a half bottle of solution. When she should have gave me a new bottle to begin with.”
“My daughter (11) decided she wanted to spend her Xmas money on having her ears pierced . After having them done we followed the instructions of after care and all seemed ok.
Four day’s later her ears became swollen, red, hot to touch and green puss oozing out and the earrings became imbedded!! After a doctors visit which lead to antibotics and 6 hours in urgent care to get the earrings removed.
I have a very upset little girl who has been put off by having anymore piercings.
I called into Clare’s to notify them of my daughter’s ordeal and the staff unhelpful wasn’t bothered.”

Go somewhere like Blue Banana instead.
I took my son to the High Cross in Leicester branch and straight away I thought the stud looked tiny, like one for a small child. Before the piercing took place there was absolutely loads of faffing about till quite a crowd was around him, being on the spectrum this caused him some high anxiety that he had to battle to keep calm.
In less than two weeks his ear has swelled up and swallowed this tiny stud, I had to force it out his lobe last night and the stud looked disgusting, gunky, black, horrid. I cleaned his ear up and put a stud of my own in and now fingers crossed it will calm the swelling down.
Use this company at your own risk.”
“Got an ear piercing at the Warner Robins location. Holes were different one looked awkward. Went back for a redo. employee, told me to take that earring out wait a week for hole to close and come back. I waited two weeks went back manager couldn’t find my information in their system. told me that I would have to pay again for the piercing. I located my receipt called back. Her position was the same. Wouldn’t give me district manager name. I’m left with a closed hole. Will be taking the next step.”

The sales assistant was incredibly rude from the outset. His manner and tone was hostile and with every query we asked he was clearly irratated. I have never experienced such poor customer service and would expect a store aimed at children would have more friendly and helpful staff. Needless to say we did not proceed with the ear piercings and will not be visiting this store again!”
“I ordered a size 8 in a beautiful antique style ring and somehow by the time they got the money it became a sized 6 ring. I emailed within minutes of the receipt and nothing. I emailed after work the next day and finally got an email that said sorry it was sent. Definitely need an edit order before shipping option which I hunted and pecked for throughout the Claire site. I Sent a new email with what I hope is a solution because all of my Amazon marketplace stores have the "oh I'm sorry we will send the correct size and just send back the original error and we can call it good". Times are really changing for consumers these days. I will never recommend this company if they don't care for repeat sales or a good reputation 🤔.”

“So I went to go get my ears pierced and I was 3 but when I got home my mom so so mad because they were soooo un even and now I’m so mad because all my friends have their ears pierced nicely and mine are just uneven. Also my cousin slept with Claire’s earrings in her ears over night and when she woke up they were like imbedded in her ears there had like absorbed into her ears and she had to let them close up and she had to get them repierced at a better place, and I mean honestly Claire’s is a total rip off.”
