I dared to ask for photos of one record I was interested in. Met with these responses. Seller replied arrogantly and condescendingly, instead of a simple “no we are not able to provide photos” Most people like to see something they are buying l, whether it’s $1 or $100!! and some snooty sellers like this one should be reprimanded However, “one bad apple doesn’t spoil the whole bunch”, overall discord has worked out well for me.

Sellers are slow to ship. And when they do they use the most ineffective way to do so. Be prepared to wait 4 - 6 weeks.

We requested multiple times to remove a CD release from years ago that was mistakenly sent with the wrong printed cover by the MFG. The request was denied. It is difficult to leave a positive review when a simple legitimate request is repeatedly denied.

Hub.Store not a great guy there was a misunderstanding with my order, which was a human error, Hub.store Didn’t receive payment for the vinyl so he left a lovely message in my inbox and called me A Dick, A platform like this shouldn’t allow sellers to be abusive to their customers who make mistakes or any errors when it comes to orders.

I have just lost 43 records! And my money and my time! I've been contacting them for a while, opened a few support tickets and no one gives a s**t. NO REPLIES AT ALL. They are useless. Absolutely no customers service, no replies to questions about issues or scams. It used to be useful platform. Now it is reasonable to AVOID IT! It is worth moving back to eBay or any other new platforms where you are safer buying or selling.

as usual, discogs makes it impossible to have a good experience. They enable fraudulent sellers with no recourse and then the password reset on old email or phone info, just not good and so I have moved to music stack for reliable LPS. Even as a seller, they lose money with the poor management of this website by discogs, too bad, so much revenue lost. Will never return to site.

AWFUL SERVICE, NO CUSTOMERS SUPPORT AT ALL. THEY ONLY SEND TEMPLATE REPLIES IGNORING THE ACTUAL ISSUE. THEY ACT IN FAVOR OF "PRIVILEGED" USERS & SELLERS. ALSO TOO MUCH COMMISSION.

PRIVACY VIOLATION!! DISCOGS ILLEGALLY SHARED MY IDENTITY & ACTIVITY WITH ANOTHER USER WHO EXPOSED ME PUBLICLY!! I'VE BEEN ALSO A VICTIM OF ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR. COUNTLESS OF COMPLAINTS, REFUSES TO REPLY!! BE AWARE!! Discogs Staff & Community Support Specialist still haven't replied to my countless tickets for many months now regarding PRIVACY VIOLATION. My identity (personal information) & activity on Discogs were leaked out from a specific Discogs Staff to a 'High Ranked' user who exposed my identity & activity publicly!! Despite all irrefutable proofs & screenshots I attached, all my tickets & complaints are still marked by Discogs as 'Solved', avoiding to give me any explanation on my issue! I even wrote to Discogs Messenger explaining the whole situation and they told me to address to Discogs Support Center, which I did countless times so far!! I've also been a victim of abusive behavior such as "ping DtF (DOWN TO F***) so he knows what's going on" and more...of course all with proofs/see screenshots. All my reports/complaints were in the frame of Discogs guidelines while I was also polite with everything. As this wasn't enough, the same Discogs Staff member blocked my account from contributing to the database the same moment when I reported Privacy Violation, since he had shared my personal data with the specific user who exposed my identity. So ever since I wasn't be able to edit anything, even my own releases, nothing at all! That is how Discogs works and there's a ton of evidence! This is ILLEGAL & completely unfair!! Discogs is a non objective music database manipulated by its Staff & their 'High Ranked Users' who have the power to vote and decide about your own music/releases, no matter if the mass (or you) support a different opinion. The conclusion is yours... PS: PLEASE IF A LEGAL ADVISOR READS THIS I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE HIS OPINION. THANK YOU

Terrible service to buyers in favor of dishonest sellers. Multiple double VAT issues. Support staff react with succinct to zero communication, if at all. Buying records on Discogs is a minefield, if you are unlucky. This is a call for a balanced new platform on the principle of fair business.

new user avoids this site! toxic forum and difficult UI, use another way to buy and collect. You will get harassed in the forum by those "real ogs" and "police" on the site. such as Jayfive mentioned here by other users. They will gang up and harass you.

Hi. I was charged VAT in an order, and then a second time in costums. First i complaint with costums, who said that no VAT was payed in the origin. I've contacted the seller, and he said that is an automatic charge that the site www.discogs.com makes, but that all the supposed “taxes” are for discogs pocket. I read then the vat issues in the site, and it's something it happens, but that they will make a refund. I've opened a ticket, with all the proofs asked, they don't answer, just keeps closing tickets. They've gotten the money, if i send it to paypall it's the seller who looses and not discogs, and are just closing tickets without a word why.

I tried to create an account but I suspect the site will not accept an apostrophe that has always been in my surname. God only knows why

I ordered 4 records recently and had all 4 within 2 weeks. 13th floor Vinyl went way over and above what was expected. There is a real person behind the business and he was very supportive. It was my lack of knowledge about ordering that was the problem not them!

I bought an item that was said to be in "very good" condition but was actually in terrible condition. If you look at almost every item it is described as such. Why not have a picture of every item? Most of the prices are very high and many items are still in stock at record labels, Amazon, Indie Merch, etc. Having said that, if you're willing to pay up and risk them being in poor condition you can find some rare items. I was interested in an item which gave the price and said "plus shipping." It didn't say what the shipping cost was, however, so I went to "check out" to see if it would. Because I did so (went to check out) without purchasing the item, I now have a negative feedback and many won't sell to me. Pretty weak.

Nonexistent customer service, fees charges on shipping, no new features to the platform. A forum moderator named Senor Velasco and Jayfive sexually harassed me for months and made some very lewd comments.

Customer service is the issue. Dealing with Discogs support has been a nightmare. The replies are sporadic and lack any initiative in helping you, as something that could have been fixed in one email took 3 weeks of segmented emails (and counting), making using support and help an incredibly laborious task. I do not recommend being a seller here, you are better off selling your records someplace else where they care about their sellers. Terrible service. Like others here, if I could give a zero, I would.
