I placed an order for some bed linen with Hotel linens, a week or so later I only received the pillow cases. I emailed them and after a minimum of 48 hours and lots more emails from me they replied saying they had been having problems with their internet, obviously not such a problem because funnily enough they could still take orders and money from people. I also had a query about their invoice system as they seem to be charging VAT twice on both of my orders, this query has still not been answered, very odd. So when my order balance finally arrived two and half weeks later, the quilt covers I will admit were fine but the pillow cases were not what I ordered and to be blunt looked as if they had been made by little children in a primary school, the quality was appalling, they were different sizes and of very poor quality material and were spotted with brown stain marks and overall very grubby, looked like they had been kicked around the workshop a few times. After attempting to contact them several times by email, which were all ignored again I tried to call them by phone but this was simply a telephone answering machine on which you leave a message, obviously this gives them the choice whether to ignore it or not, so got nowhere with that. So now I have gone through PayPal for a refund on the pillow cases as they are completely useless to me, and again it seems this has also been ignored. To sum up Hotel linens, they have serious communication problems unless of course you give them a great review and Malcolm is there to thank you personally, well Malcolm, I wonder if you will reply to my review or you will simply delete from your up to date shiny collection of reviews? No worries if it is deleted I shall simply keep putting it back on, copying and pasting is a wonderful tool! I have yet to hear also about the very strange double VAT charge on their invoices it all looks very dodgy to me, so much so I have now decided to take my business elsewhere especially now that I notice Hotel Linens have introduced a price increase since my last order.

Thanks for your review, we have checked the invoice and it is correct, the invoice you paid on line is correct it is impossible to charge vat twice, also we do not get negative reviews removed as the feedback does nor allow that to happen. As for the pillow cases we are happy to replace. All companies in today's climate have to increase prices, this is because of the fluctuating pound against the dollar, as to bring goods into this country are getting more expensive. We do take seriously any negative review and apologise if we have given you a bad experiance

It’s been 2 weeks since I placed an order. The company Hotel linens has taken the money by pay pal. I have rang them - the phone has been disconnected, I have emailed.... this company is obviously NOT reliable! I urge anyone who is thinking of purchasing anything from them NOT TO BOTHER... thieves comes to mind.

Okay . To anyone who is thinking of purchasing anything from Hotel Linens. DONT This company are a bunch of thieves! Take your money and never respond to any email. The phone is no longer connected! There is no way to contact them.. but they are quick enough to take your money! I am seeking legal advice as they should not be allowed to have an online company if all they do is take your money without delivering the goods..... keep away from this company

Poor quality flannels - nothing like what we'd been promised. So thin you could 'spit peas through them' as my late mother would've said. Did all the refund procedures and have had nothing back. Unable to contact in any way or form. Robbing fraudulent traders. Avoid.

I placed three orders on the same day, for table linen. None of the items have been received. Eventually I received a refund for one order. I have tried phoning, emailing and by letter - no reply whstsoever and still waiting for refund of the other two orders. Very poor customer service. You have been warned, I will never deal with this company again.

Cannot get them to answer the phone or respond to completed contact form. My order is incomplete and has been since October. I have a feeling they have gone out of business????? Awful service

I placed an order on the 16/01/2019 paid for next day delivery and although the money has been taken I am yet to receive my order. I have tried calling everyday and emailed several times but no response.

Ordered, had confirmation that the order had been received then nothing ... that was nearly 2 weeks ago. 2 emails unanswered and their phone line doesn’t work. Paid for next day delivery ... what a joke, avoid like the plague!

Shocking customer service. Simple order of white towels and white fitted sheet. 3 weeks later still no delivery despite being told I would have them 2 weeks ago. No response received to my last chaser. Honestly - there are many places you can buy online - go elsewhere and save yourself the hassle. Who has time to chase a company for a simple order and who can be bothered giving business to a company who don’t even have the decency to respond to you when you ask for a status update?

We ordered a baffle box quilt, it arrived in a torn open black bin bag with no delivery note and the wrong quilt. We contacted Hotel Linens via email as we had no return information and 9 days later we are still waiting for someone to get back to us with return details.

I placed an order with this company that did not arrive on time. I was unable to contact them by phone and was told their phoneline was out of order. After four emails was told my order had been sent to the wrong customer and i had to wait for that customer to return the goods before they could be sent to me! Very disappointed with overall service

Have still not received the goods so not sure why I'm being asked for a review. I made the order under the expectation that the goods would arrive within 3-5 working days (as on the website) but it has still not arrived 6 days later. The late delivery has caused us extra work as we had to do extra laundering on a very busy day.

Item ordered last week and paid for next day delivery £4.95 p+p We were told item arriving on 27th Nov and it’s now 20.10pm and No sign Very disappointed!!

Hi Martha as discussed you should have received the parcel yesterday due to your post code being outside the normal delivery areas. I can see from the tracking that your parcel was signed for today so you have the parcel. I now need to ask DPD why the delivery was not on time and we should be able to get a refund fr your delivery and pass this over to you. However as this is the first time we have heard about this issue we have not been able to proactively assist you. Can you please sen dan email to info@hotellinens and we can then progress this matter. If there is am issue outside of our control, such as a delivery agent we do request you contact us directly as soon as possible rather than leave negative feedback on the forum, kind regards MAlcolm

First order was fine, good quality, delivered promptly and order complete. The second order for king size duvet set was missing one pillow case. I only realised when I was making a bed up for guests. I have emailed twice with order details , no response, and used the online contact form, however, I have heard nothing back from Hotel Linens. It is difficult for me to call during working hours so am disappointed with their lack of customer service.

"Still not in receipt of goods despite ordering on 28 September.\r\nNo updates or advice of delay.\r\nWorst ever." Received a phone call saying delivery a.m. today 9 October 2017. Now received an e@mail from courier saying will be sometime tomorrow 10 October 2017
