“Tried to get a quote they kept calling me back during the day instead of the evening. After I kept telling them they need to call in the evening. Then they put you through to another department and the phone goes dead. Its starting to get to harassment levels the amount of calls I get from them.”
“Rang over 2 days for a van insurance quote when you press the options you are put through to sales but they can’t help so they transfer you back on hold again then put through to another agent again they don’t deal with this transferred again.
In all 32 minutes and got nowhere

“Well I called to make a claim, they sent me a link for me to take pictures of damage then got their bodyshop to call me, they sent me a link to take pictures of damage and said they would arrange collection the following week. Over a week had gone without any communication so I called then and yhey didn't seem to know anything bizarrely, they said that they would get back to me, which they didn't so I emailed just campers insurance and they said that they had no records of conversation which is very worrying, I am going to sort out my own repairs out, I am paying for a cover and having to pay to sort it out myself, needless to say, I won't be renewing my policy in the future”
“Really disappointed with the way JK treated me having been a loyal customer for several years. Renewed my policy, and after 2.5months cancelled it as I sold the campervan, and won't be getting another one for a couple of months. Firstly they refused to accept my date of selling, as I could only produce the email confirmation from DVLA and not the paper slip, so I lost ten days of the policy. Not that it made a difference, as the refund was (wait for it) Zero!!! No refund even though I'd only used a fifth of the insurance term!!! All premiums taken up by cancellation fees. Blatant rip off in order to maximise their profits. I would've advise paying by installments so that you can protect against this I'm in the process of getting another van and will be going to an insurance company who don't exploit their customers! Very poor show JK”
“Took a campervan insurance out with them and the agreed value which was £75.
Total £433.00
Sent all relevant paperwork and photos.
Explained that the new van was being picked up next Tuesday so needed the full amount covered ,nothing heard so decided to ring them today .At the time of taking the policy out they failed to mention that the agreed value could take up to 30 days to be agreed, so, lucky I rang today as my van would have only been covered for book value should it have been involved in an accident on route home.
I indicated that I needed the van covered for the full amount as I had paid the extra £75 but they said they couldn't guarantee it would come back in time .I then explained that in the paperwork they sent(received today)it stated that the agreed value charge was £15 ....when questioned,they tried to give me some silly excuse that in was sent the wrong paperwork.
I told them if they couldn't supply the correct insurance then I would cancel .They charged me £40 for cancelling ...nothing but crooks ...don't touch them with a barge pole .
And also this took up most of my afternoon ,on my day off .
God help if I had made claim.
I then had cheaper insurance with LV and gap insurance for a cheaper price than Just Kampers .”
“I had insurance with this company for a year. Renewed in the January and paid the first months direct debit of that term, but then sold the camper van so cancelled the insurance. Obviously I expected to pay a cancellation fee, and any remaining money between when the direct debit came out and when I cancelled.
Then to my disgust I was sent a final bill of £230.00. The insurance for the whole year was only around £330.00. I had already paid £35 (ish) for the January direct debit, so they basically wanted me to pay nearly £280.00 for one months worth of insurance!
I called to query this and the lady on the phone could not give me any justifiable reason. So I asked to speak to a manager and she said someone would call me back.
No one called me back. So I emailed asking for a call back, still nothing. Then I received a letter chasing payment and threatening court proceedings. I called them again and explained that I wanted to discuss the charge before paying and needed to speak to a manager. I was promised that they would call me on Tuesday (29th March). Still no call and it’s the 1st April.
All I want is to speak to a manager and to find out why they have this absurd charge on my account. They obviously don’t want to speak to me as they know it’s appalling. But they are happy to hound me for the money without the courtesy of calling me back.
This company is a disgrace. I would never use them again and would advise others the same.”
“Absolutely awful experience! Ruined my whole weekend😡👎 Will NEVER use again!! Ordered a part on Wednesday and was clearly told it was in stock and I would definitely receive it by Friday... Had to ring on Friday because it hadn’t arrived, was told that they didn’t in fact have it in stock and that they were investigating missing stock that was showing up on the system. Customer service is shocking as is the attitude of management (very rude and not particularly bothered) Dreadful!!!”

I foolishly set up an insurance policy with them and was misled that it would only cost a £30 admin fee to cancel within the cooling off period. Upon dealing with them for documentation it was clear they are not a company to place trust in. I therefore went elsewhere and contacted them to cancel my policy. They wanted to charge me an £80 fee for 3 days insurance. They were condescending and said I should have read the fine print in the policy booklet. They basically implied that it was my fault for believing the information on their website which states the fee is £30. It turns out the £30 is an additional fee for cancelling outside the cooling off period. This is not clearly explained. Disgusting way to operate. Avoid at all costs!”

Told on monday the 12th april that my order for 2 roof brackets for the awning I purchased at the same time and was delivered on the 9th april would definitely be with me this friday as I explained I was going away this weekend ( Sunday) for a 10 day fishing/camping trip to Scotland
Sat in all day losing a full days pay to find out at 3 o'clock this afternoon friday the 16th that they have not even left the factory.
Absolutely fuming losing a days pay and will probably have to pay my fitter compo tomorrow for his wasted time.
Next time I will not be buying online and I'm shocked at how bad the customer services are at JK is these days considering I've been a customer with these guys for over 10 years

I ordered a Heavy Duty Instant Garage – Dark Green 4.5 x 3 x 2.4m (Small) JK Part No. J45618 | Qty: 1 on Just kampers website.
when I received my order I was surprised to see a completely different brand called " Clarke" being delivered. From the information on their website and on my invoice it seems it is Just Kamper's own product and I expected and hoped for good quality. But it didn't turn out to.
Still went ahead and pitched it as in the instructions. Next day I wake up to see the whole thing has blown off by the wind and landed on its head and scratched my car and few other car parked next to it. Absolute disaster!!! The signature "Push-Fit" connections gave way.
This was the description of the Portable garage on Just Kampers website. "This quality, heavy duty, medium-sized instant garage is ideal for protecting your pride and joy from all weathers.Durable and hard-wearing,this instant garage offers the same level of protection as traditional buildings, but for a fraction of the price. Practical for all manner of uses, it can also be used for outdoor trade shows and exhibitions, as building site storage, as a temporary workspace and additional storage"
This can't be far from truth!!! Its cheap quality, poorly designed and put together in the worst possible way.
When I raised the issues to Just Kampers they quickly changed the product description on the website !!!! And pretended it wasn't ever there!!! So so wrong Just Kamper!!! That is disgusting behaviour.

Next they put the blame on the customer by wrongly accusing them of not following the assembly instruction and using things which never came with the garage!!!
There are no assembly instruction on Just Kampers website, nor do they inform how many people/ hours / what skill level would be required for assembly.
My complaint was handled in an awful way, with no clear explanation, reasoning by in experienced staff.
I have had a horrible experience with Just Kampers and would never ever use them again. Hope this review help s other customers for keeping safe from them.”

“I ordered online a roof vent with fan for my campervan early August, and it arrived when I expected it but only the fan arrived, not the vent. The delivery note said it was on back order but no date provided. I called the supplier and they said backorder most likely 7-8 weeks which did not suit my plans so they refunded the vent immediately. They helped me out of a tricky spot, but I wouldn't have ordered in the first place if their website had said out of stock until end Sept.”
“I would never use Just Kampers again or recommend them to anyone.
I used Just Kampers due to their 'fast delivery'... what a load of rubbish.
I ordered a set of van windows and all the gear to install them to my van. I was told the order would arrive with me the next day as i had ordered early in the day. The next day I phoned around 10am and was informed the windows had been dispatched and would be with me shortly. At 1pm they hadn't arrived so i phoned again and was told they had left the factory early so should be with me soon. At 5pm they had not arrived and when i phoned i was told they had not left the factory at all and that actually so of the items i ordered were on back order...
After a load of hassle, driving around an hour out of my way and poor excuses from Just Kampers i got my windows and all of the installation items.
I was initially refunded 10% of a £250 order before I was aware that the items would also be sent in multiple parcels and when I later phoned to say that i wanted a further refund as i had to drive around for an hour out of my way to pick up the items i was laughed at on the phone and told that that wouldn't be happening. This is despite earlier in the conversation the customer services manager admitting that they were in the wrong and that I had been lied to during the day.
I can genuinely say this is some of the worse customer service I have ever experienced and will not be purchasing anything from their site again.”
