“Im a huge fan of Kettlewell Colours. I'm shocked and very surprised to read of a few poor experiences but mine has been the opposite: incredibly helpful CS team, lovely colours and styles that are varied enough for almost everyone. There is a little elastane in many styles, it's true, but this helps keep the shape of the garment. There are also many pure cotton styles, plus modal, linen, viscose and lyocell mixes. The clothes aren't cheap but not are they throwaway fast fashion: choose carefully according to your colour palette and body shape and you have a product that will last for years and the basis of great coordinating outfits. Returns are less straight forward than previously but still free and you can order different styles or colours to try on at home. They've brought me fizzing out of my long-term black and navy era into the wonderful world of colour and I haven't looked back.”
“No, the issue was never "resolved" as you put it. Your customer service team manager (Carli) was rude to me and threatened to close my account because I was upset by the fact that you failed to send me a dispatch email for 9 days, and you concealed the fact for those 9 days that the belt I had ordered had been out of stock all that time, when it had showed as you having 6 of those belts and in stock when I placed the order. I am upset that you/Carli blamed me, the customer for being upset at your mistake, that you offered no apology, that you failed to inform me earlier and got me to keep phoning you to query the absence of a dispatch email, and that your customer service team closed ranks against the 'annoying' customer rather than accept your culpability. Actually I never want to deal with Kettlewell Colours again as a result. Great products. Appalling service.”
“Taking too long with refunds. I contacted customer service to explain that I'd returned items on 8th April and you received on the 10th. I needed refund before Easter break in time for rent payment. The manager said it takes up to 21working days. I've been a long term customer and am most upset that they couldn't push this through faster from me after me explaining my rent situation. I've never known it to take so long. It's humiliating to be treated like my custom doesn't matter. I'm upset, to be honest”
“They will hold onto your funds for a month before issuing a refund. They make it hard to contact them - they send the bad news about their slow refund practice from a noreply email. This company is shady”
“Garbage clothes! It's impossible to buy anything since they add elastane garbage formaldehyde petroleum product to all their clothes. Not only is the fabric sweaty and rabidly itchy, it doesn't look good!! It doesn't keep its shape and gets frumpier and baggier as you wear it. IF you can wear it, that is: I'm allergic to that formaldehyde fiber. They RUIN ALL their clothes, by adding itchy synthetic fibers or wool to cotton. UGH! Who does that?! Who cares about colors when you can't buy their highly allergenic clothes and if you do, in a couple weeks you look a frump from all the elastane.
The company who will offer clothes in 100% natural fabrics in AFFORDABLE colors will become millionaires but not this UK company (And who wants to pay for shipping from UK $20 back and forth when you need to return?!) More and more people have developed fabric allergies, and they need to cater to our needs. How hard is it to make 100% cotton Tees & sweaters!? If yo need to mix your fabrics, then add viscose, lyocell or silk, but none of those itchy synthetics. They're also super unhygienic! Plus they're always out of the pretty colors. If they have them, you can be sure they won't have your size. Kettle is the pinnacle of Murphy's law!”
“This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced with an online retail store. I am trying to return items I purchased. Their online return process is experiencing difficulties and I am unable to generate a return label. I have tried calling their toll free number on numerous occasions only to get a busy signal every time. I have also sent numerous emails but have not received a response. This is atrocious and inexplicable behavior by a merchant and I will tell everyone I know not to purchase anything from them.”

“I love Kettlewell tops! I purchase them regularly and rarely send anything back. The colours are fabulous and many of the tops are made in a longer length that I find so much more flattering. Their clothes are well cut and stylish, both classic and up to the minute styles and the fabrics are extremely good quality.”
