“Dreadful product, we went just ovet the 5 year guarantee with a mattress - it just developed a huge hole. Despite being a customer for over 35 years, I got a rude short and sharp reply. Zero offer or effort to keep me as a customer - avoid.”

I contacted them within the 365 day return window which they now say never happened (conveniently) and have refused to refund or replace my mattress which has metal staples coming out of it (amongst other issues). They are refusing to honour their guarantee when I raised it again with them. And to top it off they were quite rude to me via email and patronising.”

Where do I start bought echo breath 2000 mattress Medium firm direct from silent night just under two years.
All was well although changed mattress to Medium soft.
Mattress delivered used with marks on top and bottom of the top cover and stitching was not consistent.
They sent out replacement all was fine then a few months down the line stitching came undone top and bottom.
Inspector sent out was in my favour replacement sent out.
within two months the filling top layer was completely flat and springs sticking out at one side.
Once again inspector sent out was in my favour.
Back and forth decided to go for another mattress around the same price range as I paid originally £519.
After two weeks they were sending out the wrong mattress after a phone call they sent out the correct one I picked lift breath mattress witch was more expensive £26 pounds more.
After delivery all seemed well until after the first week rotating the mattress I hadn't noticed before trusting them after several problems in the past there is a bulge sticking out at the bottom of the mattress can feel the springs a few loose stitching on the top and bottom right hand corner is not consistent as it slight overlaps.
These are the same problems with the other three with loose stitching inconsistent mattress filling bulging at the bottom.
After contacting them again going over the same situation repeatedly I was told its natural settlement and to rotate ever week which I have been doing.
Totally unacceptable would never buy again from this company and do not RECOMMEND!!
Fed up with excuses and constant replacements as they obviously have a serious manufacture problem and couldn't care less.
I cant see this lasting more than a few years going by the previous FAULTY mattresses.
The next step would be a small claims for a full refund as I have had enough of silent night as I refuse to go back and forth with continual same problems.
I would seriously think twice and using them this was my first time and certainly the last unbelievable it almost laughable.
Also be careful with the sleep trial as they send out second hand used mattresses and tell lies that there not.

“Very bad customer service after a purchase of a toxic product. We bought melody bed and geltex mattress with Fulham headboard from Silentnight via Carpetright with delivery in December 2020. Complained about the product as it releases smell that causes headaches and difficulty breathing. They keep saying they are reviewing it and no resolution in 2 months.”
“Was sent a Silentnight Eco Comfort Miracoil Mattress as an "upgraded" replacement for mattress that sagged after only 20 months.
It's been rotated every week, but after only 19 days this mattress is also sagging.
Response from warranty dept " 1st impressions are as though the mattress has been sat on extensively".
It's not been,but Silentnight would appear to believe 19 days is a long period of time.
After several emails was offered another "upgraded" replacement,checked reviews to find if anyone had similar problems with this one sagging and they had.
So my options are--- like for like replacement-another "upgraded" replacement -both would mean taking the risk of having to go through all this again-or the £48.00 I payed for delivery .
I would advise anyone to think very carefully before buying a mattress from Silentnight.”
“purchased a mattress via the online shop. received a double instead of the king-size which i ordered. returned wrong mattress via post office and a replacement is on its way Monday although i sent it back with proof of post on the previous Thursday. A little disappointed considering they posted the wrong one and thought they would have made an attempt to post out to me immediately and not have to wait a further 4 days before shipping.”
