“I placed an order on the 20th December. The order was cancelled and I have received nothing. Still no refund. Not responding to email. Phone number does not work.”
“I wish I could give no stars
I wish I could give no stars. After searching for anyone with the old style Adidas sliders and found them at Sweatshop I ordered them although I could have bought the new style cheaper, the new style arrived. That was bad enough as they seem cheaply made and probably not genuine Adidas. The worse issue was that the size 9 I ordered was 2cm shorter than my current size 9s. When I tried to arrange return they were incredibly short with me via email as I wanted a free returns label and they refused saying that when I returned the item, if they were found to be wrongly sized they would refund - I couldn't get a clear answer whether that would include both my postage payments. Hence I didn't trust the company to refund my money (verified by other reviews which I wish I'd read beforehand) and therefore I have given these to a friend with size 6 feet - they fit a size 6.
Just for information, Sweatshop.com is the same as Lovellsports.co.uk and also a part of the SportsDirect group.
Lessons learned, check reviews before you buy and AVOID this useless bunch at all costs.”

“AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Only site that had the trainers I wanted in my size, which I duly ordered.
Received a confirmation email but noticed there was no tracking number . . .
7 days later I get an email to let me know that the trainers were no longer in stock and a refund would be arranged within 5 days.
Long-short is they had my money for 12 days.

“First time ordering from this company and next day I receive an email saying the item is out of stock and have to wait 5 days for a refund. Looks like this is a common complaint. I don't recommend buying from here!”
“Ordered trainers on website. Paid. 1 hour later got e-mail to say item out of stock & will take 5 days to refund. Item showed as available! Ridiculous.”
“If i could rate 0 starts i would. Received an item that was not what i ordered, then i was told that some items are not what they are shown as on the image. Now i have to pay to return the item and i have left several emails waiting for a response. I have still not been contacted. Order elsewhere the customer service of this company is very poor and you may receive a different item than what you was expecting.”
“Firstly the charge £4.99 for delivery and then if you need to return anything, the cost is on you. There are much better places to buy sports kit that are more professional, better value and have better customer service. Even the printer return label was cheap.”
“Sweatshop shows wrong stock information online. They allow you to order stuff which is not in stock, happily take your money and charge £5 delivery. Few days later they send you an email saying that your main item is removed from the order but you get no chance to amend the rest of the delivery. I ended up with £5 delivery charge for £14 goods which I wasn't that bothered with in the first place! It's the shoes I wanted! Customer service is very unhelpful.”
“Had an awful experience at Castleford outlet the other day because of some socks.
I bought some long socks as I forgot my socks to go skiing. Firstly, the girl behind the desk was not welcoming and very rude as if I didn’t know what socks looked like. Just wanted to grab and go because I felt so intimidated. However, the socks were very much comfortable when skiing.
When I finished my 2 HOUR ski session it came to my surprise that the socks then had a hole in after 2 HOURS!!!! I then tried to return them but the inner store was closed. I therefore then emailed to online store explain the situation. However, all I got back was because I bought them in a store they wouldn’t be able to help me as they can only help with orders purchased online from the website. They they recommended taking them back to the store to see if they can help. However, I went for a Ski session because I live 2 hours away and is therefore totally unreasonable I have to travel 2 hours to see if I can return them.
To me that’s really bad customer service, I don’t see why they couldn’t just ask for a couple of photos and my receipt to prove I got them on that day and hours after I then complained.
All I can say from this is don’t buy socks from this store!! One pair of socks cost of £7.99, I’m bought better lasting socks in Asda that are multi pack!!
Very disappointed!!”
“Bought a pair of trainers, which had to be returned, due to being small. Asked for a larger size. Regardless of Christmas rush, trainers delivered, click and collect, for me to pick up. Goods tracker and email updates offered and given throughout the process. Really kept my mind at ease. VBK.”
“Sweatshop provides a simple online shopping solution, backed up by great customer service, keeping me informed of any changes or updates to my order.
I always feel I can shop with confidence on the site.
Excellent, well done.”
