“After some setup difficulties with the earliest beta kit, I have received excellent 1:1 e-Support and now use my bike almost daily to commute and visit patients - simply brilliant and commented on as the best e-bike conversion kit around by my Local Bike Store when taken in for a service.”

“I have used my Swytch-kit for over 600 miles and, in general, I am very satisfied with my investment. There have been issues but they have mostly been the implementation of the kit and the setup of my bike. All but one issue was resolved with minor modification. I have yet to figure out how to use the additional throttle switch because of interference from shifter and brake collar on the handle. The motor has been as smooth and powerful as advertised. The (50-mile) battery has not quite reached that potential though I get satisfactory results of up thirty miles while still maintaining a significant level of power. The crew that put this together fumbled a few things initially, especially communication but they dealt with a number of hurdles that might have crashed a less motivated group. They get a lot of credit for their perseverance and the quality of the final product.”

“Love my Swytchbike kit! I set it up on my bike for riding around town and it’s super stylish and seemless. I can get pretty much anywhere without breaking a sweat. I’m in a one car household - definitely with Swytch there’s no need for a second car. I also find it really useful to have the detachable battery pack. I like that the bike doesn't stand out as an ebike due to how inconspicuous the kit is.”

“The basic concept of the Swytch is beautiful. A battery + controller that you simply install on your bike. You simply remove the battery to recharge it - simple. It is perfect if you want to stop for lunch or just recharge at your desk at work as I do on my 30 mile commute. The downside is the technology. It's new and heavy electronic components bouncing on tracks are always going to suffer. There were also assembly errors from the Chinese factory. The upside - swear free cycling into work across the Epsom Downs where my main traffic issues are the awesome racehorses being exercised. All the fun of being a club cyclist without the sweat.”

“A great little system. The 50 mile unit seems pretty efficient. Charges well, and propels you along nicely up to 15mph. Range seems okay, with 50 miles achievable at a lower assistance level or with more determined pedalling rather than relaxing! With very little pedalling (i.e. virtually none with an optional thumb throttle), you’ll still get around 20 miles out of the battery.”

“LOVE MY SWYTCH! I am able to take my Brompton out everyday because I can now conquer all the hills with the pedal assist. I'm a middle aged not so fit woman just trying to use my bicycle more. Biking does not have to be painful anymore.”

“I have the brompton kit. I think I'm one of the firsts to have it here down under. The product is great and the installation was relatively easy. The only problem is with the pedal sensor. You need to readjust it frequently. Other than that is the reliability issue. Mine had a problem with the controller. However, the team handled this and sent me another controller. I have to applaud them for this. The customer service response time was a bit slow though. But they are still a small company. I hope they could improve on this.”

“My Swytch kit is a life changer. I have a mobile bike business (Phototrike.com) and use a customized adult trike. There are plenty of e-bikes out there, but e-trikes? Good luck unless it's a recumbent. With my Swytch, it was easy to convert my 5 speed trike to an ebike! Now I can take my trike anywhere in the city and not have to worry about hills or showing up sweaty. It also helps me get going faster after coming to a stop. I honestly could not operate this business without Swytch.”
