“To be avoided!!!!!! My husband bought an expensive diamond white gold ring of £1590 , and the lady was working in the shop didn’t let us know that white gold after 2 months will go gold , I went to the shop ( Ilford exchange ) and ask them for a refund as no one told us every 2 months we need to get the ring coloured again , and the lady she was so rude not offering even 1st colouring for free , she just told us that is nothing to do with them and we need to deal with it ourselves … very disappointed!!! Don t get no any gold ring from there as you will be scammed”

“Taunton store continously closed no note on door to explain to customers why. We've tried 3 separate times to come and buy wedding rings closed everytime. Emailed and simply told we had better ring ahead next time. Simply put we will now be going to a proper jewellers that actually appreciate their customers and want our custom. Your recruitment issues are not or should never be your customers issues. I would also suggest retraining in customer service for whoever replies to your emails.”

“I bought earrings as a gift from the Glasgow Braehead store and one was discoloured. I raised this with the store and despite the fact they had been not been worn I was told there was nothing that could be done, not refund or a gift receipt etc. The worker on shift wasn’t interested to even take a look at the earrings and was extremely dismissive.”

“Bought two engagement rings from them As there was not exact size we tried to exchange o refund Short story they are not refunding yoir mine Seems like they never have matching rings 6 months now and still coud not find any replacement either on website or shop. Avoid !!!!!!”

“My engagement ring lost its diamonds, they changed it and the same thing happened. I got a voucher to used. Which I got a different style ring for a wedding ring. My first wedding ring lost a diamond. So they exchanged my wedding ring for another one. When I went back to use the remaider of the voucher... over £100. They told me it was out of date and I had lost my money. They told me I had 6 months and it was 5 months when I went in. Now the metal has just split in two on my wedding ring. But no clue why as there is no reason for it to break. Wonder what they will say now. I am NOT going to accept their spiel.”

“I ordered a item on line when it arrive it did not depict the images online, further more when I tried to contact them online for a refund their website would not allow any contact whatsoever the chain was very fimsy and the actual chain was knotted at the clasp as it was purchased as a gift for someone it is not good enough for that purpose it has to be the worst ever buying experience the only way of contacting them is by writing to them, seriously in these days!!, I intend writing to them to request a refund as the item is not fit for purpose.”

“Bought a silver chain for £66 in dec within a few weeks it was black (not tarnished )silver had literaly come off but its stamped 925 ....when you contact don't wear for bed, bathing, diy, housework, work dont wear when gardening ...when can u damn well wear it .I wear silver everyday all day (proffesional cleaner) with no problems cheap nasty rubbish !!! AVOID !!!”

“I bought a ring for £1,300. I was not told about exchange and refund policy (as all jewellery shops do). Due to pregnancy, my fingers began swelling and my anniversary is round the corner. So I asked for refund as my size is unavailable & it will take up to 2-3 months to receive a bigger size. Lady at Ilford branch was so rude and was like no refund, did not offer refund on good gesture, just a credit voucher. £1,300 is a lot of money and now I'm being forced to buy things from there. With that money I can go to a better jewellery shop with better policy, staffs and customer service. I even asked her, okay so I will try and buy something but what if I still have a huge amount left, her response was, another credit voucher will be issued to use in he next 6 months...I was surprised. Warren James, it seems like you guys are scammers with your policy in stores and that it differs from policies online. Why do you guys do this?”
