Bought a tennis bracelet for my wife for her birthday. First time I got charged twice, after a couple of emails the refund for one was recieved. Problem became that the bracelet within 3-4 weeks of wearing it has broken. She hardly wore it! Have to admit the whole experience has not been great and now have to find her another present as this was of poor quality. Sadly, wont be shopping here again.

Would give 0 stars if I could. An absolute scam and worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Never walked out of a shop crying before but that happened with this store In Salisbury. My partner bought me an engagement ring. He did not open the box after buying it until he proposed to me. The ring was too big so I had it on once to be proposed to and to take a picture and then it went back in the box until I brought it back to the store for an exchange to the right size, which he was promised by Stephanie he could do. I brought it back today for Stephanie to inspect the ring to tell me it was ‘damaged’ and she could not take it back. . There was a small scratch on the back of the ring which must have been there when she sold it to my partner because we have had it out of the box for near enough 5 minutes. The second I handed her the ring, she found the scratch that was barely visible in a mili second, which says to be she knew it was there when she sold it. Stephanie was adamant she would not have sold it with a scratch and refused to exchange or even re size. Can’t believe the dishonesty of a place that obviously sells rings that they’ve let 1000 people try on and fail to take responsibility of their mistakes. They try and get money from people and then there is zero customer service after that. There was no apology or any sense of empathy from either behind the till. What made it worse was hearing giggling from one of the store assistances as I walk out close to tears. For a moment that should have been very special, Stephanie and warren James made this a very stressful and upsetting moment for me. I have contacted trading standards and citizens advice who are going to investigate and the local news paper! Never going to this store ever again!

I bought a set of 9ct gold earrings here. I asked the woman working there if they are actually gold and not just gold plated as I can only wear full gold earrings. She confirmed (sounded and looked annoyed) saying they were not just gold plated but actually 9ct gold. But a few hours after wearing them my ears started hurting and when I took them out the holes were bleeding. I tried again a few times but my ears just swell up, bleed and get inflamed. So these earrings are NOT gold as advertised! I now bought similar ones (9ct as well) at HSamuel for the same price and my ears are happy. I will never buy from Warren James again

Non delivery, ordered item at £148 on 4 December 2022, it is now 13 January 2023, no ring , no answer to emails and no phone number to call, awful company

I purchased a pair of earrings (gold ones ) at a price of £69 which looked very nice at the time'The fasten was the type that you open out .When I got home I attempted to open the earing and it was so very tight .As I have athritis there was no way I could open the fasten >As it was the Xmas period I took the earrings back to the shop as soon as they reopened explained what the problem was ,I was then told that once you have left the shop you cannot return earrings at all. It was obvious that I could not open them and had not worn them .They didnt care at all.I am 73 years of age and to lose that amount of money is devestating as I have bought many items as gifts previously from them ,NEVER AGAIN

I purchased a silver chain as a Christmas present, I asked the lady who served me if I could get my money back if the person I was giving it to didn't like it. I was told yes I could. Today I went back to a branch of Warren James (not where I brought the chain) I was told I could have a voucher, but I couldn't have my money back. And I also had to redeem the credit note at the shop where I was issued the credit note. Not any other branch. The lady who served me was pleasant. She had no choice as it was company policy.

I ordered a necklace on the 9th December as a Christmas present almost 2 weeks ago and they still haven't arrived. All I received was an email to say that they'd been dispatched the day after the order was placed but no tracking number was provided. The only way to contact them is via a form on their website. They don't have a telephone number or even live chat. I've filled in the form 3 times but haven't received a reply. They're also trying to blame Royal Mail for the delay but I've received several other parcels from Royal Mail on time in the past few weeks

I visited Warren James in the Prospect Center in Hull on Friday 16th Dec, I was looking at earnings, and decided to go in, but didnt like the length of the queue! Young assistant by the door, kindly wrote down the code of the earrings I wanted, handed me the slip of paper, and asked me to wait in line, within minutes I handed the paper to the assistant at the counter, out came the earrings ( they looked better than they did in the window) purchased and away, very efficient, and the assistants were pleasant and easy to talk to. Can't fault them, well done. X

I ordered on the 23rd of November and it’s now the 16th of December and still nothing emailed a week ago asking for the tracking code and where it is nothing came back I’m fuming with what they have done and how such a big company doesn’t have to time to help there customers with there difficulties

Sell products which are inferior and when returned to store would not entertain me. They use any excuse they can think of. There customer relations in very poor. Please do not deal with this company and waste your hard earned money.

We bought a white gold engagement ring which I loved . After two mths one little stone on the side came out . We took it back to the shop in Stockport and they offered to repair it but we had to pay because we had lost the receipt . We paid to have it mended but two weeks later the same stone came out again . Went back to the shop and they said we had to pay to have it mended again ! And now a few weeks later the main middle stone has come out I’m absolutely gutted ! And after looking at the reviews it looks like there’s no joy to be had at all ! Even if you have a receipt they don’t seem to do much ! I’m absolutely disgusted and I will never buy anything g from them again !

Absolutely the worst customer service ever purchased two gold necklaces was sold a solid gold only to find out they where gold platted. Returned to shop for a refund no chance only offered a credit note which I didn’t want contacted customer service by email who said no refunds for something I was totally miss sold as member of staff assured me it was solid gold when asked. I have asked for the CCTV footage to prove what was said to me question what no luck there either This shop needs to be avoided at all costs

The rules matter to this company the staff have no flexibility at all.every thing is great when buying but if you have a problem then you must keep your receipt or you will lose out as there system is outdated and they have no records. In the end an item should at least last more than ten months its down to poor workmanship thats why they are cheap

This my sound petty but i ordered a gold necklace for my sister online a week ago. When it arrived it was lovely, however i thought i had pressed the box and bag for it which looking back at the order i hadnt and only paid £3.50 for postage. As i wouldnt have time to trail to a W.J shop i quickly asked if this could be sent out to me and i would be happy to pay a further £3.50 cost of box and bag. An email said, NO, i would have to go into a store, take evidence of the sale and try and get one from their shop. TERRIBLE service. It was an accident on my part. I then had to race to a shop, which i did in Doncaster 20 miles away and the sales assistant was absolutely lovely to me, she provided the goods with so much empathy for my error. I do like W.J i will however think twice about this experience in my future sales. Lynda B.

Wedding ring is 2 years old ,bought its as I like the white gold and yellow gold together, it is now completely yellow gold and look like a different ring ,awful quality, this place should be shut down!!
