WORLDSIM is a SCAM, phony and extremely fraudulent company. It is even shameful to deem it as a company because if you look at the website, it's a joke because they claim to be a small team situated somewhere in the UK. The descriptions on their website is completely false and misleading. They say that they can provide you with an international sim card with a US number. But all their numbers are sent out with a UK number, if you are even lucky enough to get the sim card delivered to you. They charge you 25€ (I KID YOU NOT) just for the postage from the UK to Germany and more if you are located somewhere else. This is a bloody joke because they promise you that you will receive the product within 3 days. But they actually ship out the product on the 3rd day so the product won't even reach you in 2 weeks. They then ship out your product with the wrong address or the wrong name even after contacting them multiple times to inform them about the right address, and then they have the audacity to mention on their website that they have a return policy but will only return the product amount but will not refund the postage amount, lol. That is if you even actually receive the product. And then comes the part where you have to contact them every single day for more than a month to fight for the refund and they will lend you a deaf ear saying they will look into it. Nothing gets done until you get sick of it and either let it go and choose to take it as a lesson learnt or just choose to initiate a chargeback on your credit card. Please take this from me, this fraudulent company will do everything wrong and then some more to make it the worst experience for you and all to avoid refunding you. Most of the 5 star reviews for WORLDSIM are fake and were written by themselves and you can deduce it if you look at them closely. No one, I repeat, NO ONE who has experienced their service would even think of leaving a half decent review for this garbage. They have a blog which is basically generic articles written by AI and half of them do not even make sense. The "company" can be very closely compared to one of the scam call centres located in India. It works similarly and their customer support is THE WORST! If you make the mistake of buying anything from them, just forget your money or any hopes of getting a refund because not only will you not get your product that you ordered, but if you ask for a refund, they will act dumb and will make you frustrated enough to just give up trying to get a refund. They reply to your email with generic automated responses and they get you nowhere. If you want to waste your money and give scammers your personal card info, then WORLDSIM is your best choice. If you want good service and a product that you actually ordered, then STAY AWAY from this scam of a website. It's criminal that they even exist. Please, I implore you to make the right choice, check their website out, trust your gut feeling and avoid this fraudulent company.

I just returned from Japan, where I gave WorldSIM one last chance. There was one network that I could occasionally get WorldSIM to work with. I had no service in Yokohama or Tokyo. My wife has Google Fi, and it worked flawlessly everywhere we went. This was a bit better than past experiences in Israel, Tanzania and Caribbean locations where WorldSIM was useless, no coverage at all, though their website claims otherwise. I’ve spent many hours of vacation time trying to get WorldSIM to work. Only in parts of Europe and the United States has it been somewhat dependable. It’s extremely brittle, unpredictable, and will stop working for no apparent reason. It’s definitely not something you want to rely on if you truly need cellular service, or value your time. Other issues I’ve had include inconsistency between information on their web site, printed instructions, and customer service responses. I’ve been charged for calls I did not answer, or when incoming calls were supposed to be free, and for using data when WorldSIM wasn’t working at all. It will switch from a preferred operator and nail you with predatory charges. I was charged $24.90 and $10.25 for data sessions of 1.658 Mb and 0.6 Mb. I was refused refunds/credit when WorldSIM did not perform properly, and received frustrating customer service responses that ignored my questions and/or claimed things that were not true. I’m fairly astute when it comes to technology, but after more than 7 years of frustrations, using at least 4 different phones, I give up! I am baffled by all the positive reviews. I hope this one will help someone make a better choice than I did.

Awful. So inept it feels like a scam. Don't use. They took my money 8 days ago for 4x USA SIM cards with data bundle and recorded delivery (3-5 working days). Latest delivery date for recorded delivery was supposed to be 3 days ago. Still no SIM cards have arrived. Courier tracking number provided is either fake or invalid as no records found. Online chat help is polite but essentially useless - "We will escalate this to the higher team and they will reply within 24 hours" is all they keep saying for the last 3 days. No answers about when/if the SIMS will arrive in time. Now I am stuck - do I continue to wait into the last day before we travel to see if they can fix it or do I buy a whole new set of SIM cards somehow elsewhere? Really disappointing. Do not use.

Here is ANOTHER 1 star review!! Their SIM was not compatible with 2 of my Smartphones....after 5 weeks of their 'Technical' team efforts they decided I need to change CODE on my phoneS, which I am not capable of. Over the 5 weeks I REPEATEDLY AND POLITELY suggested they just return my money. Finally I have demanded my €60 back or I would give bad reviews and take to Social media....and HERE I am!!! They are not even responding to my emails now. My advice ...USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY

I took a gamble on their International Data simcard. Data worked reasonably well on the first day in Mexico but eventually it failed. I loaded the card with both credit and a data bundle but neither worked. I sent an email but no refund as yet.

I used this card as my business number for years. In july they forced me to buy a new card with new number. I did buy the card but requeated to keep the same number as all my contacts have it and it is printed on cards brochures etc. They left me my number for a couple of monrhs and then suspended my connectikn without any notification at all. I have explained them the situation and requested that they give me my old number but received nothing but stupid , non sense replies. Too bad I got their services as it ended to new expenses and financial losses for my businesses. I cant believe there is nobody in uk to protect the international members from their irresponsibility.

This company is smoke and mirrors. Deplorable "service", fake reviews in TrustPilot, the Facebook Page is a joke, and they take users for fools. That "taking" includes inexplicable charges, eroding of credits, that can be interpreted as silent theft. Mysterious terms of service and constantly changing fees, that make tropical weather patterns, seem stable. With over 40+ years in technology, and 6 of those being exposed to the "services" of WorldSIM, I cannot cut up my SIM card, into small enough pieces. This "company" is the epitome of being conned into parting with good money, to receive bad "service" in return. WorldSIM is to be given a VERY wide berth. Run, don't walk.

Bought 2 Sim cards and just couldn't get them to work. Tried to get help and I've used other cards in other country's with no problem. When I tried to get a refund they put me off and I really don't think I'll get it. They didn't seem interested in customer service but were sort of polite in basically saying they weren't going to give me a refund. I tried Phoning, Emailing and Live chat but I was always chasing them and I think my biggest regret was being taken in by these scam artists.

I purchased 5 SIM cards to be used for a trip to Europe for $120. They arrived on 6/20. None of them worked; when i put them into my phones, they all caused the phones to say No SIM card installed. It took several days to hear back from tech support and they could not resolve the problem. Since I was leaving on my trip a few days later, I did not have the time to try and get them to work and/or get replacements from them given their lack of responsiveness. I also did not trust the company or the cards assuming they did end up working, so I asked for a refund. I have been trying ever since to get a refund. The company WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY. They are refusing to give me a refund, even though it was requested within their stated 14 day window. Their warranty also is for 6 months against defective product, and they refuse to refund me based on that either. They keep telling me it is unlikely that none of the cards work, even though I tried troubleshooting them with their tech support before I went on my trip. The form to submit a refund request on their website does not work - it tells me that the case number is invalid, even though it is the same one they are using in their email correspondence. They tell me I should use their live chat so they can troubleshoot, but there is no way to access the live chat on their website, and they won't tell me how to access it. This is a HORRIBLE COMPANY that thinks very little of their customers. They do not honor their warranty and do not stand behind their product. I am now out $120 thanks to them. I ended up purchasing my sim cards from OneSIM and they worked fine (with excellent customer service). If I could leave 0 stars I would.

How do I even begin to describe what terrible service this company provides. I bought a defective sim card on a flight to a foregin country. I travel a lot and the amount I spend on SIM cards is adding up. I need a decent international sim but the one i bought never did work. I wrote and emailed and was promised a replacement and 2 months on, there has not been a replacement and now, they are not even responding to my messages online. A terrible terrible service even before getting the sim card...how bad must the rest of their service be?

Terrible customer service - so bad they should not be trusted to provide a service at all. I bought a SIM card of theirs on a flight to another country, got there and was left with no ways of communicating since some countries you can buy a SIM if you are a visitor. I contacted them and i was assured they would send me a replacement...this was 2 months ago. I called, wrote, begged...nothing worked. VERY BAD SERVICE...and that is even before getting a functional sim card...
