“It’s so clearly a scam. Hiding in plain sight.Obviously doing the absolute minimum to keep funding. It is giving mass red flag indicators that is probably a fraudulent front hiding in plain sight considering the awful service,the gaslighting of vulnerable victims, the apathy and hostility when you place a call when you have faced terrifying losses, are vulnerable , scared for your personal security , upset. To know a belligerent apathetic (and one often patronisingly sexist older male who regularly takes calls and makes it clear he doesn’t give two tosses) call handler mostly answers, and that there will be zero justice.It feels like a criminal enterprise as zero care, zero follow up .For some , mostly women, who are being violently stalked, or journalists, sensitive sector employees, who have had their address compromised etc are at extreme high risk of violence or death. Action Fraud has caused a lot of harm to victims who received zero justice, zero care, zero follow up. It’s a gaslight of the very worst. It’s clearly heavily advertised as the end all be all *first line of reporting * for cybercrime fraud or fraud incidents , but nobody follows you up, you receive no report, no tools to track progress of your case and no assurance your data is NOT being sold off, as it’s a charity, with volunteers , not a secure government server with adequately paid staff. This would mean corruption and tip offs to criminals and organised scammers must be in the stratosphere as we are not being given any evidence of efficacy and lack of corruptability. . It could be potentially used to give heads up to criminal groups who can pay low paid charity workers off for sensitive data, they enrage me. National Citizen security should not be sold off to charities run by volunteers and low wage apathetic ,hostile people with low barriers to entry. A service like should only be run by a highly secure government body with the most advanced cyber protection and experienced,vetted fraud case managers. Its a joke and a lie to the public that they actually do any work on behalf of victims with no evidence whatsoever, to the victims. They need to be investigated by a serious forensic audit team.”

I had to fill out a complicated form to get an account I was offered a case officer but told to wait 8 to 12 weeks. I sent evidence and the very least they could take down the domain and get instagram to block the fake profile but no we pay the police and it’s easier for them to do nothing.
A child of 6 is more useful they certainly don’t help with mental health issues but they can shoot a female dog and her puppy or chase innocent boys terrifying them to have an accident and die we ought to be ashamed of ourselves for allowing them to get away with doing what they want.”

I reported a fraud case to these people about a company I paid for a CSCS card that I never received. the company was even trading under a fake name & address & I informed Action Fraud of all this information with solid black & white evidence, However, after about two months after I had reported the case they finally decided to send me a letter basically stating they weren't prepared to take the case on with a little booklet with information in it giving advice as to how to spot or avoid fraud that was absolute of no use at all. They are a complete & utter waste of space.”
