“These boots are beautiful and really comfortable, but they are really difficult to get on and after the full body workout getting them on involves, the zips won't do up more than half way. I wore them a few times in the hope they would loosen and stretch, but no. So they are now a very expensive shoe rack ornament.”

“I have a pair of bareback boots, the high ones, can't remember the name but they're great: comfy, definitely waterproof, do all the things I need my boots to do, so I was pretty confident ordering some Quebec boots. I was wrong, sadly! I could see the moment I took them out of the box they were a totally different shape. I am a size nine and as I say, previous boots fitted lovely but these were clearly not sized proportionately. Far too narrow. I struggled my way in to one boot to see if they'd settle but no chance. It was a wrestle and I didn't even bother trying on the other one. Length no a problem but width definitely was and I have fairly slim feet! Gutted as they looked fab in the pics and I really wanted them!”

“Unfortunately, they are very uncomfortable for me. I have been wearing them for a month now and hoped things would improve. The left gusset has a hard fold that pushes into my ankle and both shoes feel uncomfortable on my front shins around the top of the shoes. I love the look of the shoes but definitely not comfortable at all.”

“Sadly I have tried maybe 4 different styles of waterproof ankle boots and with all of them ( even went up a size in the hope that might help) I’ve not been able to get my size 5 foot down the ankle neck of the boot. Very disappointed.”

“Was not happy with them at all. The instep seems very tight when putting on pulling the inside of the boot down as you slide your foot in but then when they are on the instep is baggy. Really badly fitting boots not worth the money whats so ever and i wear a lot of yard boots these have come out the worst purchase!”

“Id been recommended this company by a neighbour and was excited to order my first pair of waterproof walking boots and they were lovely however they'd sent out a pair that had a lump within the leather of the leather boot so it looked hunched and didn't lie flat so I returned for a refund not sure I would chance using them again”

“I love the look. But unfortunately from day 1 of wearing them they have creased at the heel and rub. I also thought I had bought waterproof ones but I haven’t and they aren’t waterproof at all. Not a good experience unfortunately.”

“I absolutely love the fit and comfort of the Kentucky Storm boots. However, despite looking after them (I thought) pretty well, my last pair only lasted 8 months. The advertisements say they are for riding, yard wear, walking etc but when I spoke to Emma at BB she said “well you wouldn’t normally expect a leather boot to do that…” well my last pair didn’t. I received a small discount on my next pair. After only 4 wears (they got damp in the dew not wet) they are not looking great (shown in photo) despite buying the dubbin and their waterproof spray and using it after each wear. I’ll give them a month but if they continue to wear so badly I will be seeking a full refund to buy another brand….let’s see….”

“I bought a pair of boots after reading the reviews and hoping they were as good as the reviews made you believe. I was deeply disappointed, they rubbed from the start. I perciverived, but with no joy. I can not recommend, and the customer service was not helpful, they didn't want to know. Save you money and buy elsewhere.”
