“Beautiful boots, but they take some determination to wear in!”

“Lovely boots but come up small in size , I had to remove the insole out to wear them and if I hadn’t needed them for the following day I would have retuned them .”

“The combination of the zip on the outside of my ankles along with very small fiddly buckles to be undone every time you need to put these boots on or take them off is a serious design fault.”

“The Dakota boots look amazing. However I wore them and my heel kept lifting. Whilst the toe area is nice and roomy, there is very little support around the heel area. The fit is wide through the arch and heel. My fairfax and favour boots fit better as do my neoprene wellies. I am not sure how to fix this problem. My previous purchase of jodphur boots was excellent. I have probably wasted £200. If you have a wide heel, the Dakota is a good choice. The leather is lovely.”

“2nd pair of bareback boots I've purchased, qubec and harley. Ordered usual size in quebec, too big, measured feet and exchanged for size down. Harley, measured feet and ordered size according to the size chart. Both times massive blisters on feet. Inside construction of the boots i find the heel area really hard and rhis caused blisters each time, not quite what I expect from boots that cost nearly £200 per pair. Im very hesitant to tey and wear either pair again (qubec purchased lady year, only worn once) I'll try soften the affected areas with hot water and vaseline or something similar but I won't be purchasing another pair”

“I wanted the Quebec Bordeaux but they didn't have a size 6. I took a chance and ordered size 5 as sometimes I can wear a 5 but I couldn't get my foot in them so I sent them back. I like that style because it is a bit different but they are being discontinued.”

“Was so excited to receive a pair of Quebec boots I had wanted for ages for Christmas. So sad that I struggled to get a foot into the right boot and no chance at all for the left 😢 Standard shoe size 6 in every high and low boot I own. Not these… Returned and waiting for refund.”

“Why would rob forrest buy a pair of ladies boots? Is he a cross dresser in the equine world? No! He has bought them for his wife. They are part of her christmas present. So please ask me on the twenty sixth of December if she is delighted with her new footwear. Until then I can only say that Bareback footwears communication has been excellent. Delivery was early. Have not opened them in case the size is wrong. So merry xmas everybody and speak to you hopefully after xmas..Regards to all.”

“First pair arrived super quick, however the stitching on the inside was very rough and I returned them for a replacement pair, which are on their way. Love the look of them with lovely soft leather. Eagerly awaiting the replacements”

“Would love to write a great review as the boots looked amazing and so cozy inside but unfortunately I was sent a size 5 instead of a size 3 and only noticed after I had completed the returns form and placed the box back in the bag! Returning them was quick and simple and refund within a day.”

“A mixed experience. The boots were well made but too narrow in the calf and extremely stiff. If they had fit, they would’ve taken quite a while to break in. Unfortunately I am also struggling to return them. The returns label was missing from my package and a week after notifying Bareback, I’m still waiting for a response. Not great customer service.”

“I found the sizing not quite true. My calf measurement was well within standard size but they're very snug. The zip wasn't very tidy at the top and seems to fold in and not close neatly at the top. Such a shame as they look lovely.”
