“Website very poor, so how good are the boots?. What are the boots made of? Are they leather? Nowhere does it say that they are leather. What quality leather? Who knows? Everything is implied, nothing explicit. The chat bot is useless and devious. It doesn't answer the basic question "what are the boots made of?"- if it can't answer that what's the point of it? It makes up its own question and answers that instead. And, once you've opened the chat bot, you can't close it, so it blocks half the sc reen from then on.”

“I love my boots - the service was excellent, very friendly and quick. I sent the first pair back as they had an uncomfortable bit by the heel, but they were super speedy sending me another pair and they are just right. Very happy.”

“The quality of the boot was excellent but the comfort of the insole was not what I expected the padding under the front part of the foot was thin and not supportive. I am an older customer and it may be my feet need more padding than a younger person but comfort is very high on the list of what makes these boots special so I was expecting more. Thank you for the free delivery and return so I could try your boots. They are gorgeous and if they suit your feet they will serve you well.”

“USA buyers beware of shipping fees. Boots were just average quality. I used the measure chart for my size and the boot was still small. Basically paid 100.00 to try on their boot. There was nothing special about these boots and found a better quality pair at a better price”

“Delivered quickly. Wrong colour sent !! I ordered correct size as advised on website..narrow feet but unable to get the boots on. Will have to return the boots. Disappointed. ***The foot width indicator below is not working properly... I have slim feet.”

“The Idaho jodhpur boots are comfy in the foot however the ankle area has been painful I have two sores I have had to put plasters on. The leather is so hard it’s just rubbing all the time very painful 😣”

“I was excited to get these boots but found them hard to get on. I struggled to get my foot in even with the zip undone and the laces loose. Then it took some time to get the laces right to support my foot enough but not too tight or the zip and popper fastening would not work. Is there some knack with these boots or are they just wrong for me? At this price, I want to be entirely satisfied, any advice would be helpful. Before I purchased them I asked for advice online on which boots would be right for me with flat feet and a bunion; I was assured these were ideal.”

“Despite testing my Bareback boots around the house, I found they started to rub my heel when dog walking. The heel area is made of very thick leather which appears to make the boots likely to rub. Only when I contacted the company did I discover that they believe that their boots may need ‘wearing in’. According to the list of advice they issue, it may be necessary to a variety of things such as putting Vaseline on your feet to avoid rubbing. Despite what it says on their website the company is not interested post- sale. They will be very polite and roll out platitudes, but that’s all. Whoever writes their website wording and follow up emails is very convincing but the company doesn’t live up the promises and expectations they set.”

“Received my third pair of boots last Thursday wore them one day on Friday, went to tighten the buckle on the left boot on Saturday morning and it came away, the stitching had snapped. I've had to take them to a cobblers to have the buckle re stitched. This is not what I expect from a pair of £195 boots. Yes I could have returned them but would have been without boots for another couple of weeks and I needed mud proof boots! I'm very disappointed at the standard of these latest boots as my last pair have lasted 2 years.”

“Disappointing fit around the ankle due to position of seam, felt the boots would rub the ankle on long dog walks. The sole did not feel very robust and you could feel the floor you were walking over. Also the low position of the zip meant on rainy days or muddy wet tracks, water would seep in via the zip. The overall of the boots did not reflect the price, due the matt plastic look. The leather looked as if it would easily mark and quickly change the appearance of the boot. Unfortunately, I have returned my boots as not what I was looking for. Thank you”

“My normal size was correct but the heels slipped badly so I couldn’t walk in them. I have narrow calves too and the boots were miles too wide there even on the smallest buckle hole. Lovely boots but avoid if your feet or legs are narrow.”
