“Too long of test. 8 hours?? God sakes I’ve been driving for 49 yrs! The tests for getting your first license aren’t even THAT long. WAY TOO LONG!!”

Hi Deborah, Thank you for your feedback. 8 hours is a DMV requirement and California law. I'm not sure why you would leave us a negative review for a legal requirement. However, the course is self-paced, and there are no timers. This means you can go as fast or as slow as you wish.

“Considering that this course is for mature drivers that was an awful a lot of information for a mature driver to take in understand and remember in order to take an exam at the end that was a awful lot of information you wanted me to remember and contain in order to take the test at the end and I'm 52 and Not only was it a lot of information but you had it in the most boring format there could be and then after paying the $20 for the mature driving course the discount I got on my insurance company was $43.84 I hear that's a total of almost $3 savings a month so I spent $20 in order to not save but spend 20 more dollars that was crazy to me anyway that's just my opinion and my view have a wonderful day and stay safe”

Hi Monreeck, Thank you for your feedback. We understand it is a lot of information but this is the content that the DMV requires us to cover. Our course is for 55+ only and we do ask you to contact your insurance company to confirm how much you would save prior to taking our course.

“The actual course was fine and the price dry reasonable. I was completely turned off by the hard sell off the “peace of mind” , which I fortunately didn’t fall for. It took me one quick phone call to verify everything was complete with Placer County Court. Because you tried to scam me, I wouldn’t recommend your service.”

Thanks for your feedback Michael. We didn't try to scam you - we said you could call yourself and find out. It's an option for people who don't want to do that. And not every court is as easy to reach as Placer County court.

“I thought it was a wasted 8 hours of my life. Being the age that I am I know most of the things that we went through and then to get the questions at the end which was so stupid I could have passed without the class. I taught driver's ed 1/2 this stuff was a repetitive repetitive repetitive could have been done in a lot less time. If you know about any type of learning people remember the 1st 15-20 minutes and the last 15-20 minutes. Not 8 hours or 4 hours or breaking it up into 3 hours. Also you are supposed to send me an email with my certificate and I didn't get that except confirmation that I'll be sent 1 in 3 to 5 days.It should be sent to my Triple A so I can get my discount for taking the stupid test.”

Hi Theresa, We're required to cover certain topics in depth and have a minimum amount of time the student spends on the course. These rules are set by the DMV unfortunately. We did send you an electronic certificate but the one that will be processed by your insurance company has to be mailed over. They will not accept our electronic copy.

“Course is way too long, redundant, and wordy. Syllabus needs rewritten and needs to be more interactive, i.e.games, better video clips. I cannot tell you how many times I fell asleep reading and bored to death.”

Sorry you didn't like the course but this is about learning. The course is designed to only take about 2-3hrs at the most by avoiding unnecessary add-ons that are not allowed. Again sorry you didn't like the course
