“Overall, the actual class and online material were great, very user-friendly. However, the pricing that they promote is VERY misleading. They advertise the class for $27.99, and you don't pay until the end when you pass. Then, at the end, the $27.99 price more than doubles when they add in the certificate fee and processing fee and more, to the tune of $64.37. By this time, you have already invested the time to take the class and pass, so they really put you in a tough position, pay us the higher price, or start all over again with another service. My guess is this is done intentionally, as most people will pay the higher price, but it is a little underhanded. So buyers beware and know the lower price they advertise is NOT what you will end up paying.”

“The format of the material is great and easy to understand. I felt like your company pulled a bait and switch. I thought there were no hidden fees?? I thought it was costing me around 27 dollars until the end and I was hit with a piece of mind fee and suddenly I'm paying around 68 dollars. If I hadn't invested all that time I would have exited your site. I thought it was very messed up what your company did.”

“The course itself was great but they did not send the completion information to the court as promised. I am trying to contact them but I am getting no replies on call or email. I even paid extra for the peace of mind yet there is no peace. My account has been deactivated as well so I cannot access the information myself either.”

“The vocabulary used during the quizzes and tests was confusing and misleading, like a trick question, that I had to read 3 or 4 times for a simple true or false answer. It took me 2 sessions of at least 3 hours each, and not the hour that I read somewhere that it should have taken. I understand that everyone is different. I consider myself an educated man and I struggled many times just to understand what the question was about. The Acronyms are supposed to be an example of your own comprehension some of the questions were never discussed in the pre-exam. So I feel like they're a bit of entrapment and your desire for us (students) to fail even though it is free until you pass. Therefore a very uncomfortable experience and not friendly at all.”

“It was great and was supposedly free. I already paid for traffic school at the Indio courthouse. Instead when I finished the course I had to pay 58.00 for a certificate to be sent to the Indio courthouse”

“The paperwork wasn't delivered the same day like advertismnet says on the website. DMV received the certificate 10 days later ,that is unacceptable and a lie.if I wouldn't have completed the course with enough time I will be screwed. I left a small review on some websites advising the potential users of my experience and warning them about the false advertisement.”

“When I chose Best Online Traffic School, they stated the price was $19.99. Not until the end of the quizzes did they state the total cost would be close to $55. This company was VERY misleading and would not recommend them because of this !”

“Everything was going well and of course when it came time to finish which you’re stressed out and want to get it done as soon as possible, It was very difficult checking out and getting rid of all the stuff I didn’t want which most people would just go with to finish. I’m 66 years old and have been disabled for 12 years and don’t have the extra money and completing the transaction at the end was not painless and easy at all. You need to work on that.”

“BE AWARE !!!!!! The actual course was good. Easy to follow and informative. When choosing a dmv approved course there were many low cost options starting at $5.00 I went with this one for 25.00 and also received a discount code upon signing up as I didn’t want to have any issues with it being confirmed with the DMV. ( thinking if I paid more it would be solid. ) After completion and paying for it that is when the bait and switch comes .. offering two more pay price tiers to guarantee that dmv actually gets notified with proof !! Really ? Pretty certain that’s what most people are counting on !! Goodness !! Very disappointed!! So in a nutshell , save your money .. take the $5.00 course and just call your local court yourself for confirmation. People like honesty up front and this was sneaky. 😤😡”

Hi Saxon, After we declined to give you free additional services in exchange for 5 stars, you have written us a poor review. There is no bait and switch, as you get exactly what we promise in our course fee. Any additional services are not included and that is not advertised as included. As you have correctly said, you can call the court yourself and we encourage people to do that. You have incorrectly stated our course fee is $25. It was $19.99 and you paid $18.49.

“I just got an email saying I might not get my stuff processed on time just because I didn’t purchase and extra item I’ve already purchased, will not recommend this I might as well go with someone else with 1/3 of the price.”
