“I bought an item in the sale but it doesn’t fit, I was surprised that you have to pay for returned items as well as shipping, it will cost me nearly as much to return the item as it was to purchase it, so I’ll sell it on Vinted.”

Good Morning Kay, we are sorry to hear that the item purchased doesn't fit. Unfortunately as a small independent business - without the economies of scale that much larger retailers have available to them - we are unable to cover the cost of postage to customers or indeed returns. Whilst we would love to be able to facilitate this, it is just not something small businesses can typically shoulder. Full details on returns and covering the cost of returns postage is noted quite clearly on our website and so we can only apologise that this came as a surprise and would always advise checking these details if you are ordering from a company you are unfamiliar with in future. “I love the Emile & Ida blouse, but would love a confirmation of order email, it would take the anxiety out of sending sums of money into the unknown! Despite that, great and imaginative fashion in stock, a definate go-to store.”

Hi Gabrielle, Many thanks for your review. To clarify, all customers receive an automatic order confirmation when orders are placed - these went out to the email you placed your order under on May 1st at 6.10pm and then another with your second order on May 12th at 11.44am. As these are automatically sent from our system, we always advise customers to check their junk folder as unless you have saved us as a contact, these will often be filed there.
